We all love our pets. Well, what happens in a world where animals become half human? Hundred of years ago, a man came up with an idea to genetically alter animals. Mainly cats and dogs, but over time others as well. He was socially shunned by animal activists who thought that he was abusing animals when in truth, he thought of them as his children. After his death, they were allowed to live in their own society, but never allowed to go outside of their territory. Like any animal, you have your wild ones, domestics and strays. It's forbidden for them to have relations with humans and if caught...well, they get put down. They never gained any rights that humans are allowed and are shunned by most. But there are few that are intrigued by them and want them to be equal. A group of friends were given permission from a school within the Animal District to become students in order to attempt to prove that they should be allowed to have the same rights as humans. The question is, how? That is what they must figure out.

Okay, so if you are going to play as an animal, here is a list of what was gentically altered for you to choose from. You can also specify the type it is of that species.

Before I forget, each room has two beds and a small living/kitchen area and one bathroom. It is a co-ed dorm so men and women can end up in the same room sometimes.

Grade (1st-4th): 1st year
Personality: Stray. He isn't social at all and typically avoids others. Part of that is because he is also extremely shy. He doesn't talk much and like any stray cat, you have to gain his trust in order for him to even want to be near you. He is actually afraid of humans and constantly watches the ones now attenting his school. Especially since he has a human male roommate, who he attempts to avoid as much as possible. That is hard living in such a small space together. He goes as far as hissing or hiding under his bed. But like any cat, toys or the smell of good food are always his weakness. Not to mention that once you hit that sweet spot behind his ears, he just melts and purrs uncontrollably.

She can be a bit rude at times to anyone not of her own species of animal and is close with her 'pack' or family. She's dated men, but is searching for her soul mate before she goes all the way. Her heart is set on a romeo and juliet scenario, or can even be described as looking for her prince charming. She spends most of her free time in the library reading books about love.

Personality: Domestic. He is easily distracted and absolutely loves being around humans. His tail wags whenever he is excited about something and always seems to be in a good mood. His biggest weakness is when someone wants to play fetch and most of the time people will throw a stick to distract him long enough to get away. He has a tendancy to be clingy when he finds someone he likes and treats them like a master and pet relationship. He loves playing with other animals and will even get into wrestling matches with a few of them in a playful manner. He even will play with humans if they allow him. His eyesight isn't the best, but his other senses are higher than normal because of it.

He hopes to get to know some of the students and wants to see what it's like to be on the other side of the fence. His main hobby is playing the piano.

She hides it, spending her time crying in the privacy of her room for fear of people judging her or thinking of her as a weak girl.
