"Apologies. i didn't mean to imply that you had ever taken a life. I'm just curious about things," Kukiko said, looking at her partner. "What's BDSM?" She asked curious with a completely innocent look in her eyes. Kukiko listened quietly to Murao's story as she watched all the different things the girl used for her makeup. "Then would you mind teaching me how to be more of a 'woman' like you?" She asked as she accepted the mirror and looked at her reflection. "Makeup feels weird, but I think I could get used to it," she said, oddly enough feeling shy.
"I can, though food isn't needed for my species. We feed off of something else," Kanaye said with a smile, not specifying what it was. "It's just an observation, that's all. Besides, you're just the first human to know that I'm a reaper. Perhaps you should study me and write a book on reapers," he suggested with a smile, clearly joking while thinking it would be interesting at the same time. "It was a joke... you humans really need to get a sense of humor," Kanaye said as Arisa shook her head while they continued to walk. "What kind of pudding would you like m'lady?" He asked playfully as they walked into the store. "So Arisa, any ideas on the main course yet?" He asked as they walked through the store while looking about the shelves to see if there was anything interesting that caught his eye.
"No, it means you could have just as easily have killed me...," Maria said as she placed her hand on her face and sighed. "Complicated, yes. But it's what most people use so unfortunately you're going to have to get used to them," she said, looking at Minoru as they walked. "That sounds lovely. I would like that very much. I wouldn't mind, I actually like hearing about history," Maria said with a smile as she started removing her boots and some of her clothing after shutting the door to their dorm.

Minoru gave her a curious look. "Oh. I didn't mean to scare you," she said, smiling at the woman. "Is it? I don't particularly like them, but I guess I can at least learn how to use them. It's just that they're so loud. Wouldn't it be more productive if we used weapons that didn't make so much noise?" She asked as she looked at Maria. "Okay! The bath will be ready soon!" She said as she finished getting everything ready for their bath. "It's ready!" She called from the bathroom, a smile on her face as she took off her clothes and got in the water. She sat down, letting herself relax as she waited for her partner. She spent some of the time... most of the time talking about her culture and the history of her people. She seemed to enjoy telling Maria all about it, not in the least uncomfortable in the situation. Her band of elves were more free and open, often bathing together and chatting things up. She felt at home in a way. "So what is your home like?"
Keita glanced down as Hijikata moved his hand to his sword, getting the sense that the man was always cautious about everything. He kind of wondered why, or if he should even ask why the man was always on edge. "Oh, really? It was a guy?" He asked, a little embarrassed that he had gotten the story mixed up. He paid close attention to Hijikata as he spoke while the two of them walked back up to their room, seeing the man squeeze the hilt in almost an angry way. "It's rare for elves to go so far just for someone they love. It's a sad story, but it's still a noble reason even if it has a sad ending. My dad is a Kitsune and my mother is a human. People look at them pretty funny, but they don't care because they love each other." He smiled a little as he thought about it, walking into the room and closing the door behind them once they were both inside. "I hope I can find someone to love like that someday. Someone strong that I can take care of. Kind hearted and protective," he said, taking a moment to heat up the dinner for Hijikata before going over to the bed and sitting down on the edge, looking up at the man. He didn't want to make Hijikata uncomfortable, so he decided not to mention that he batted for the other team. "What about you? What type of person is your ideal future lover?" He asked, closing his eyes with a bright smile as his tail wagged back and forth slowly.
Jack reached down under the counter, pulling out a bag full of small metal balls that most used for dumping on the ground to trip up enemies before turning to Akashi with a smile. "Nah, nothing wrong. Just wanted to chat a moment," he explained, glancing over to make sure Harumi was still preoccupied before turning his attention back to the boy. "Her partner figured this out last year. Toss one of these anywhere as she responds. Think of her like a bat. She uses sound waves to see what's around her. If the place is silent and dark, she can't see a thing... though supposedly she can see everything as a huge blur if there is light. But if you toss one of these against a wall or object..." He pulled out one of the balls and let it fall onto the counter, watching as Harumi quickly turned her attention to the noise without any issue, her eyes right on the metal ball that now lay on the counter. "... Then she's an amazing asset. Not to mention you won't have to talk which in this line of work isn't always a bad thing to have a silent form of communication. Plus they're good for distractions. On the house, but if you need more I expect payment," Jack said with a smile, placing the bag in Akashi's hands. Harumi couldn't quite hear what was being said. She just walked over and picked up the small ball, recognizing what it was and held it out to Jack. "You dropped this...," she said, Jack giving her a smile as he took it before winking to Akashi and getting back to work. Harumi stood there for a moment, slightly confused, then looked in Akashi's direction. "I'm going home...," she said softly before turning to leave.
Tsuneo tried to peek at what book the man was reading, but couldn't quite catch the title before Ryu closed it and held it at his side. He suddenly blushed heavily when he read Ryu's words and suddenly became nervous as he averted his eyes. Basically, he was admitting he watched porn just from his reaction, but considering he always talked so big, the demeanor was a refreshing take on Tsuneo's personality. "D-don't be going through my stuff. Every man has urges," he mumbled, having no idea that Ryu was actually lying about looking through his browser. He cleared his throat, trying to regain his composure as he nodded. "Sure. Let's head back," he said, leading the way back to their room. "Well it's out in the open. Might as well talk about it. What kind of porn are you interested in then?" He asked, his cheeks still a little red, but figured they might as well talk about it as he pulled out his keys and opened up the door. He went over to his things and pulled out his computer, opening it up and glancing up at the man with a smirk. "Wanna take a look since you already snooped? I have a pretty decent collection built up. Or you can pick something you like," he said, figuring why not act like a couple of teenagers and watch some porn for fun.

"Ah," Arisa exhaled with over dramatic interest at Kanaye's words regarding the food his species eat and then softly laughs. "Don't tell me it is as cliche as in the stories. That you feed upon human souls. Mine is very sour I reassure you." She jokingly says and browses the shop's selves for a moment before deciding on which pudding to get, picking up the lemon one. "I think as a human my humor is eggselent... What, no?" Arisa then says in response to his comments about humans and food, making probably a terrible pun. Still, she couldn't withhold the urge to let it out her system and then continus. "I wonder if reapers eat pasta. I was never good at cooking, I think poisoned someone once. Maybe that's why my parents sent me to this academy. Maybe my specialty is to poison people with my horrible cooking. However, I am a simple woman and don't demand gourmet dishes. A hamburger should suffice."
Murao raised an eyebrow at Kukiko's question, as if she expected everyone to know what BDSM meant. Not many had such a dirty mind as she had, thankfully. "Huh?" She glanced almost speechless and then let out a soft sigh, shaking her head negatively in disappointment. "What do they teach you in those caves..." She uttered under her breath and glanced at the dragon in all seriousness, ready to teach a lesson. "Well, BDSM stands for Bondage - Dominance - Sadism and Masochism... So, you know... You tie some- Oh, for God's sake! Why am I even explaining this to you. If you don't know the words then you are too pure to know." Murao halts her sentence, not believing she was about to fucking explain what it meant. Like, go do a quick search on the internet or something... That, or she has become extreemly shy on the subject. "Anyway, you are hungry right?" She then tries to change the subject.
Ryu didn't expect Tsuneo to fall into his trap and hence was surprised when the latter admitted into watching porn, making him raise in eyebrow that was laughter in disguise. Whatever Tsuneo though of himself as, probably grant and eloquent, was none of that in reality. The exact opposite if it must be said, giving yet another reason for Ryu to laugh. Only that his laugh was silent, showing as a smile. When his partner decided to go into details on the subject since the truth was revealed, he gave him an 'are you serious' look before he started scribbing on his notebook on their way back to their dorm. Were they really going to talk about this? What are they? Horny teenagers? Actually... That's exactly what it feels they are like and Ryu can't help but come up with a sly idea, indicated by his grin. "Sure, why not. I always wondered what kind of fucked up tastes you have." He writes and offers the notebook to Tsineo with a blush, averting his eyes. Such a good actor. Fingers crossed the plan won't backfire.
Hijikata's hand always resting at the hilt of his sword indicated he was a man of caution and careful proceeding. A man that has spend his whole life on the battlefield, given the fact that elves age differenly from the rest of nature's species. "His gender doesn't matter." He simply yet sharply responded before unbuckling his belt and place the katana back to its case and remained silent as Keita talked about his family and dreams. Dreams, because love is such a trivial thing. Hijikata knows from experience as his gaze falls on the ground for a moment, before lifting his head to face the fox with a warm yet distance smile. "My ideal future lover..." He repeats under his breath and then sighs, wondering if he should tell the boy about the rest of the tale but regrets it. For now, he walks towards the table and takes a seat as the heated meal was waiting for him. "Someone that supports me I guess... Someone that cares and doesn't let me wander off on my own..." Maybe his ideal type was too vague and yet descripted at the same time. As if he wanted the exact opposite of... someone. Who knows. "As if anyone will be interested in an one eyed elf." Hijikata semi joked under his breath, unknown whether Keita listened or not and then grabbed a bite of his food.
Akashi was uber confused by the shop keep's stance and even more so at the sight of the metal balls, trying to find the connection between them and Harumi. Slowly Jack's words started to make sense and it was only after he let one ball drop at the counter, making Harumi to quickly turn towards them, believe the girl wasn't the one in need of protection but him. His eyelids winked twiced in awe at Harumi's reaction and double winked again in response to her wink. Wait, does that mean she knows...? His jaw was hanging open, only realising after a few seconds later, staring at Jack speechless. "Th- Thank you?" Akashi takes the offered metal balls and places them in his pocket with a hesistent look before following after Harumi. "Errr... Yeah. Home..." He would show/ gently nudge the way but having witnessed the previous scene, he felt confident in Harumi, though Akashi was still dumbfounded by the whole ordeal. Should he even say anything? Acknowledge her blindess? Or remain quiet? "You have very quick reflexes. Wow! I hope you can teach me."

"Modern weapons are usually all that are carried now a days. It would be, but that's why they make these cool little things called suppressors that greatly muffle the sound," Maria said as she smiled at her partner. "Alright," Maria said as she finished stripping off her clothes and tossed them into a small pile. "Thank you for drawing a bath," she said with a smile as she got in the water, stretching out her wings just a little bit. Maria smiled as she listened to Minoru talk, happy to learn about her partner's history and culture while she cleaned her wings. "My home is wild lands filled with demons and spirits. The strongest of whom have shrines and gain their strength from those who pray to them. I guess one could say we indirectly influence events and everyday happenings," she said, trying to give Minoru the simple version as to hopefully not confuse her with everything.
"Feeding on souls is a bed time story to scare children. Reapers can feed off of human life force OR their soul... and sour is my favorite flavor," Kanaye said as he smirked at her. "Oh god, the puns are real!" He said, over exaggerating his movements and playfully acting like Arisa's joke was literally killing him. "Good thing we are immune to poison and disease like vampires. Looks like hamburgers is the number one choice," he said as he grabbed the last few things they needed before going to pay for it. "Well, shall we make our way home?" He asked as he grabbed the bag of groceries and began walking. Despite his sarcasm and ridiculous personality, he had his moments of being a gentleman.
"Mainly survival and hunting," Kukiko said as she looked at Murao, letting her partner know she had very sharp hearing. "Maybe I should learn how it works. I mean, you seem to like it. That is, if you wouldn't mind showing me? I'm more of a visual learner," she explained in the cutest way possible, sounding like she really wanted to try it first hand. Her appearance didn't exactly have men falling for her easily. In her world, mating had a lot to do with dominance over the other and thats just how dragons lived. "Yeah, I am getting pretty hungry," Kukiko said as she smiled at her partner, sounding happy that she finally had a friend. Most half species stayed within their own immediate family and didn't exactly get welcomed in society very often.

"Oh, I see. You're so smart Maria! I'm really learning a lot from you today!" Minoru said as she put her hands together with a big smile. She was a little bit of an airhead, but some people still found it cute in an odd way. "You're welcome," she said, closing her eyes as her smile grew. She opened her eyes and let herself relax, sliding down as she leaned back against the tub as she looked at Maria. "Oh, I see. I think I understand how it works. Elves worship and respect all living creatures and beings in a wide variety depending on where they're from or what their culture is like. In my home, we pray to the forest and animal spirits that exist to bring us good health and fertile land. We believe it highly influences our lifestyle. Is it kind of like that?" She asked, wondering if the belief was at least the same concept as what Maria had just explained to her. She leaned her head back and got her hair wet before sitting up again and smiling at her partner. "I'm going to get out and get ready for bed. Take your time. Today was a really good day," she said as she started to climb out of the bath.
Keita's went back from the sudden snap in Hijikata's tone. Was it really that touchy of a subject for him to talk about? He wasn't quite sure as he watched the man take off his belt and put his sword away. Hijikata seemed sad as he spoke and he wondered if the man had had his heart broken in the past. Keita kicked his feet back and forth as he watched the man sit down at the table, hoping the food would at least cheer him up a little. He thought about the man's words and tilted his head to one side. "I couldn't imagine being the one taken care of. I'm the oldest so I'm used to taking care of my siblings... all fourteen of them. I kind of come from a big family," he said with a small smile as he hopped off the bed. "Don't put yourself down like that. They say there is someone out there for everyone. You just haven't found the right one yet," Keita said, trying to cheer the man up as his tail wagged back and forth with a bright smile. After all, he had very good hearing thanks to his fox ears. In truth, he found the man pretty attractive, but he wasn't sure if he should say that or not. "I mean, love doesn't happen over night. You have to take the time to get to know them. If you like them as a person, why should looks even matter? Only self absorbed people focus on looks over everything else. And you're a nice guy despite how much you try to hide it Hijikata. Some day someone will come and tear down that wall you have built up around yourself and be able to read you because they care," he pointed out as he sat down on the floor and was getting ready to lay down as he wrapped his tail around himself like a blanket. "I'm used to sleeping on the ground, so you can have the bed, okay?"
"No problem. Hope it helps," the shopkeeper said as he went back to work. Harumi walked standing tall next to Akashi. She never looked like she had any fear or that her blindness hinder her in the slightest. She was born like this and there was one point in her life where she didn't have that confidence. Even now, one person could still break it down to nothing. Her mother was a cruel woman and the only person who had such a high standard for Harumi that even the most achieved person wouldn't be able to walk such a path. Akashi's sudden praise snapped her back from her own little world and she seemed genuinely surprised by it as she glanced over in his direction. "You... really think so...?" She asked and after a moment there was a softness to her expression, almost a look of relief as she smiled for the first time since they met. "I can teach you, but it'll take time."
Tsuneo was still blushing a little as he typed in his password on the computer. He glanced over at Ryu as the man sat down next to him on the bed, not thinking that his partner would actually go along with this idea. So he watched some porn from time to time, but he didn't think anyone would ever see this side of himself or even be present when he watched it. "I don't have any fucked up tastes, so sorry to disappoint, but if you have something better then feel free to show me what your interests are since you've already been through my browser history," he said as he opened up the explorer and passed the laptop over with a smirk. It was probably pretty obvious that he was kind of embarrassed by the whole thing, but at the same time he just handed off his computer willingly and he was into some pretty kinky thing... surprisingly domination was his preferred search history. He kind of liked the idea of tying someone up and having complete control, not that he has met any women that were actually into that sort of thing or being 'punished' for not doing what they were told. What could he say? Everyone has a kink. "Come on buddy, let's see what you got," he said as he sat Indian style and crossed his arms.
