Like if you find 4 candy bars you have to decide who you'll share with or if you'll keep them for yourself etc etc

Takato sat in his cell, his knees pulled to his chest with his face buried in them. He was chained by the neck and wrists to the wall. The abandoned facility was quiet as usual. He lifted his head, his eye a had a blank and sad look to it. His other eye was covered with an eyepatch. He hadn't seen or heard from the doctor in a while. He wasn't sure exactly how long, but he guessed at least a day or two. It was unusual for him to not come by daily. Part of him looked forward to hearing the footsteps in the silent hallway, the other part of him was afraid of that sound. He was lonely though...all he wanted was to leave this place. The doctor was his only 'friend'. He had never been outside of this cell, though he knew the events that went on outside. The doctor always said it was to keep him safe. "Father...," he whispered as he lowered his head, his hair shadowing his eyes. That's what he knew the man as. He never knew if it was true, but he never had a reason to question it. The man was the only person he had ever seen or had any contact with since before he could remember. "I want...to leave this place...," he whispered as tears streamed down his cheeks. He was hungry, cold and alone. Not to mention extremely thirsty. He hid his face in his knees again as he started crying. "Father...please come today...I'm scared...," he said. His crying could be faintly heard from the cell within the long, empty hallway. Little did he know that the man wouldn't be coming back for him. He was dead. Even if someone could find Takato, they would need the keys from the doctor in order to unlock the cell and the chains that kept him there...who was sitting in the office on the first floor motionless, for the moment at least.

Takato lifted his head as he began to hear a sound in the hallway. It sounded like something being dragged across the floor. He wiped his tears and stared at the door, wondering if it was the doctor. "Father?" He called as whoever was outside was just about to pass by. He could see a shadow coming from underneath the doorway as if someone was just standing there. "..." Suddenly there was a loud bang on the door and a horrifying sound that he couldn't even begin to describe. He covered his ears as his eyes grew wide with fear and began shaking from pure terror. "Go away!" He screamed, his voice echoing through the hall that could be heard on the lower floor. How did one of them get in the building. It was such a gruesome sound the creature made. He flinched each time it banged against the door in an attempt to get inside and shut his eyes tight. "Leave me alone!" He screamed as he hid his face. "Please...go away...just go away...someone make it go away...," he choked out through his tears, keeping his ears covered so he wouldn't have to hear those noises on the other side of the door that the zombie made.

Kyou grinned as he sliced a zombies head in half, blood covering him in the process. "Damn bastard just keep coming to play," he said and chuckled. Daisuke shot two in the head that were coming up on Kyou. He shifted his goggles to his head and let out a sigh. "I think you have a bit too much fun with this sometimes," he said as he shook his head before shooting another zombie. His shots echoed through the city streets. "I'm low on ammo you know. Can we just get the hell out of here? I'm already going to have to scavenge for more as it is," he said as he reloaded his pistol with a full clip. It was his last one. Only eight bullets left, which annoyed him. Kyou laughed and slashed three more zombies in half. "Fine. You always know how to kill the fun," he said as he turned and started running through the streets with Daisuke close behind. The two were classmate in college. At least, they used to be before everything went to shit. They ended up having to help each other to get out of the school and have stayed together ever since. It was hard to believe it had been almost two years since the events started. Daisuke couldn't remember the last time they had met something that wasn't trying to eat them. Kyou hopped a fence, Kyou following suit. They were able to get away from the small horde that had been following them for miles finally. "I wasted four clips thanks to you wanting to 'play'," Daisuke said in an annoyed tone as they both slowed down and started walking instead of running. "You didn't have to stay. I told you, you could go on to the apartment without me," Kyou said with a shrug and sheathed his sword. "Dumbass. You'd ended up getting yourself killed if I did that..." Daisuke looked up at the sky. The sunset had turned it red. All it reminded him of was blood. It's hard to believe, but everything going on had become...normal.

As Kyou and Daisuke reached their 'campsite' as they called it near the edge of town in an abandoned neighborhood, Daisuke looked over at Kyou. "You look like you could use a shower," he commented as he stared at the man covered in blood. "Would love one. Been about two months," Kyou said with a grin. "You're an animal...," Daisuke said with a sigh and shook his head. "Why thank you!" Kyou exclaimed, raising his arms in the as he did a little twirl. 'Crazy bastard,' Daisuke thought as he watched Kyou. He stopped and looked at the house they had been staying in and where they kept all their supplies. There was a dim light coming through the curtains of the top floor window. "I don't remember leaving any candles burning...," Daisuke said as he nodded up towards the window. A huge grin grew on Kyou's face. "Looks like we get to have some more fun," Kyou said as he pulled out his sword and walked up to the front door. "Please don't kill anyone this time," Daisuke whispered as he followed his partner with his gun drawn. Kyou kicked the door in. "Pizza delivery service!" Quiet was not exactly his method. "Idiot," Daisuke said and glared at him as Kyou headed up the stairs and shut the door. Kyou rested his sword on his shoulder as he looked around the room. "Must've missed them," Kyou said with disappointment in his voice. Daisuke walked over to the bed and looked at some of the items on the table. "Or they saw us coming. You don't exactly give off 'friendly' with a glance. Besides, they just took some food. We can always find more," Daisuke said as he began cleaning up. "Yeah, but now they know where we are. Guess we'll be moving tomorrow. Better start house hunting sweetheart," Kyou said as he collapsed on the bed with his hands behind his head. Daisuke kicked him off. "Idiot, go change. I don't want blood all over my bed," he said as he threw cans in a garbage. "Fine," Kyou shrugged and headed into the bathroom where they kept some spare clothes to get changed. Daisuke watched him leave, then glanced up at the ceiling. "Hmm..." He was starting to think that someone was still here. He left the room and headed towards the door that led up to the attic. He put his goggles over his eyes and slowly headed up the stairs. It was nearly pitch black now that the sun had gone down. If someone was hiding up there, they were going to be hard to find. It was cluttered to the ceiling. He also wasn't sure if there was more than one. It would be easy to jump him as long as they didn't alert Kyou in the process.

Akito sat on the rooftop with a pair of binoculars, scoping out the city. Sven was next to him with his sniper, looking through the scope. "Seems like it's clear to check out the pharmacy," Akito said as he lifted his head and looked at Sven. He was the man's spotter and reconnaissance. Sven was their main defense who kept the streets clear from high places. Sven gave a nod and Akito lifted his radio. "Okay Sena. All clear. Be careful once you get inside, alright? It's getting dark out there." Sena was on the ground. "Got it," she said. Sena was Sven's twin sister and the one who went to search buildings. It was because she was small enough to get into places the boys couldn't and extremely fast. If she needed to run, she wouldn't be caught easily, especially with her brother watching the streets. Akito was merely a neighbor boy when all of this began. He had never really spoken to them in the past. But Sven saved his life. He's followed the twins ever since in hopes to return the favor someday. "You think she'll be okay in there?" Akito asked as he lifted his binoculars and watched her enter the building, keeping his radio ready. They had them on channel six. A rarely used channel they had come to find out, but who knows, maybe someone was listening in on their conversation and they just didn't know it. "All clear. We seriously hit the jackpot guys! There's tons of pain killers, bandages and even some food left. We'll be good for a while," Sena said through the radio in a low tone as she began stuffing her empty backpack with anything she could find. "Alright, grab the food first and worry about the meds. You've got five minutes. Keep your ears and eyes open," Akito said in response. "Alright," Sena said as she focused on the food first. She checked her watch to make sure she had time. Once she collected the food, she started grabbing other supplies until the bag was stuff to the rim. "Okay, I'm heading out. Is it clear?" Sena asked, taking a look out the window. "Yeah. Get up here to the room from the fire escape and we'll set up camp for the night." Akito sat up and smiled. "We really hit the jackpot this time Sven!" Sven nodded, not taking his eyes off the streets until his sister was safe up on the roof with them.

Kanade swung her feet over the side of the pool inside the hotel. "At least the heat still works. Gotta love back up generators," she said and looked over at the girl who was laying on the poolside. "Yeah. Though we shouldn't stay too long. I'm sure this place is crawling with walkers and we don't have time to clear out a thirty floor hotel. It would take ages," Mizuki said, not bothering to look up from her book. "Hey guys, I found some chips!" Haruko said as she ran into the room with an armful of bags and a couple of water bottles she had found in the kitchen. "Will you be quiet? What if they hear us?" Yui said nervously and sat down. She felt uncomfortable. They had only cleared the first floor and though they couldn't get through the heavy doors, she was still worried that something would get in here. "Calm down Yui. Nothing can get in here," Kanade said as she looked at her reflection in the half empty pool full of nasty green water from the lack of chlorine over the years. "Too bad we can't go for a swim," Kanade said with a sigh. "Yeah. Would be nice just to have a shower," Haruko said as she handed them each a bag. "I only found two waters, so we'll have to split them," she said with a smile. "Yeah, save some for tomorrow though. We're going to need them when we move on," Mizuki pointed out as she sat up and opened the bag, taking a bit of a chip. Yui walked over to the girls and sat down next to Kanade. Haruko and Kanade were classmates in high school. They had run into the other girls along their travels. It didn't take long for all of them to build a bond of friendship. "Do you think everything will go back to normal someday?" Yui asked out of nowhere, staring down at her food. "It's the only hope we can hold onto to survive...," Kanade said, looking at Yui. "I wonder if my parents are still alive?" Haruko said with a hint of sadness. Occasionally the girls had conversations like this. It was their way of comforting each other. They would share stories about their families and lives before everything happened in order to keep sane in a way. "I remember one time, my little brother ran away from home. He was gone for a day. Turned out he was just hiding up in his treehouse with a bag of cookies playing his video games. We were all so worried about him and he never even left. Sometimes...I feel like I'll find him hiding...Akito was always such a little rebel. We got in a fight before I left for college. I never even got to tell him goodbye...and he wasn't home. I want to believe he's still out there somewhere...," Mizuki said with a small smile. "I'm sure he is Mizu-chan! And I bet he's been looking for you too," Yui said as she closed her eyes with a smile.

"These undead bastards just keep coming!" Hikaru exclaimed as she decapitated another zombie with her Katana. Hikaru was an innocent and shy girl that liked cute things. "Look at the bright side we are getting plenty of exercise." Mao said as she cut a zombie's arms and head off. Mao was a little crazy even by crazy people standards. "Mao come on we need to move before we get over run by them." Hikaru said as she killed another zombie and bolted toward an old building with a tall stone wall around it. "Hikaru use the car to hop the wall." Mao said as she pointed her sword at a car that was on its side. Hikaru and Mao both hopped the wall. "Come on Mao let's go see if we can find any supplies in there." Hikaru said as she walked towards the front door of the building. "It's just me or is it weird how this is the only area with no zombies?" Mao asked as she looked around. "Who cares I'm just hoping we can find some stuff inside. After all we are running low on supplies." Hikaru said as she opened the door and walked into the building. "The only supplies I want is some alcohol." Mao said with a smirk as she followed.

"Hey Casey did you hear that?" Borya asked with a smirk as he placed his radio on his belt. "Yeah I heard let's go take what's left." Casey said as he grabbed his sniper rifle and walked over to Borya. "Come on the place they were talking about is only a block down the street." Borya said as he placed his hand on the man's shoulder and pointed. Borya was a soldier for Russia before everything went to hell. He was about to join the K.G.B. after his deployment was over. Casey was an American spec ops Soldier on his second deployment when everything happened. The two of them met about 6 months after and quickly went from enemies to best friends. "You realize there is a whole horde of them between us and that pharmacy right? You want to go and have me cover you?" Casey asked as he looked at his friend. "Hell no! I know you always point that thing at me! You know sometimes I think the only reason we put up with each other is because neither of us has anyone to go home too?" Borya said with a smirk. "Sorry old habits... What do you mean I thought you met my wife?" Casey said as he pointed to his sniper rifle. "Fine I'll go but I swear if you shoot me your ass is haunted." Borya said with a chuckle as he grabbed an extra mag for his gun. "Don't worry I'll go with you so we can get more stuff." Casey said as he grabbed his bag and smirked.

"Hey grandpa Ryan where are we going?" Tyree asked as he looked around. "We are looking for a place we can stay the night after all we have been walking all day." Ryan said as he looked around for a house that looked like it would be a safe place to stay. "No, I know that I mean where is it we are trying to go?" Tyree asked as he thought about how much his life had changed since everything happened. "We are trying to find the safest place possible. Hopefully somewhere without those Zombies." Ryan said with a kind smile as the continued walking. The truth was not even Ryan knew where they were going or if such a place was even real anymore. Ryan was an miner before everything happened. Tyree was Ryan's grandson he grew up on the family farm outside the city. They didn't even know about the zombies till the found some eating the livestock. "Hey grandpa how about that place it looks like it would be a good place." Tyree said as he pointed at a house. "Alright let's stay there. after all it doesn't look like anyone has been here for a while." Ryan said as walked over to the house and opened the door. "I'll go look up stairs for some supplies." Tyree said as he went up the stairs. "Okay be careful. I'm going to see if there is anything we can use in the addict." Ryan said as he went up the ladder. Tyree went into the bedroom and lit a couple of candles as he grabbed some food and took it up to his grand father. " I think I saw some water down there I'll be right back he said as he went back to the room. When they heard the door open and Kyou yell Ryan closed the hatch to the addict and Tyree hid under the bed.

Takato lifted his head after a while. The noises had stopped and the shadow was gone. Had it given up? He let out a sigh of relief and lowered his hands, leaning back against the wall. "Father, please be okay," he whispered as he looked up at the camera that was looking right at him. After a moment, everything went pitch black. He felt the chains release and jumped a little. A red light turned on in the hall and he could see that the door was slightly ajar. He stood up, slowly walking over to the door, but hesitated when he went to open it. 'Father said I should never leave this room so I could stay safe. Maybe I should wait for him to come find me?' He stood there, contemplating for several minutes on what he should do. He had always wanted to leave. Maybe...a few minutes wouldn't hurt. He pulled the door open with a loud creak. He poked his head out and looked down one end of the hallway, then the other. The quiet was erie. It was empty and dimly lit with red lights. He stepped out, his footsteps echoing through the hall. He wandered down, looking at each door that was partially open until he reached the door at the end. When he opened it, he found a stairway leading down. He started heading down the stairs, unaware that one of the doors opened behind him. As he reached the third floor, he leaned over the railing and looked down for a moment. "Hello?" He called, wondering if the doctor was down on the bottom floor. He lifted his head and looked over his shoulder when he heard a noise behind him. He turned and slowly started to open the door. The door shot open as a zombie went to grab his arm. He shrieked and quickly took a step back, losing his footing on the step and fell to the second floor, hitting his head against the wall. He held his head, his vision blurry and left in a daze from the fall as a couple more zombies came out and headed down the stairs after him.

Akito put his binoculars up and looked down one side of the street. "That ways clear. If we want to move that's probably the route we'll take," he said before looking down the other end. "That horde is still there...wait a minute...Woah, Sven! You've gotta see this!" Sven looked up at him for a moment, then held up his sniper as he looked down the street. "They're either crazy or stupid," he said when he saw two men trying to fight their way through the horde, soon followed by gunshots. "What's going on?" Sena yelled up to them from the ground when she heard the shots. Sven didn't answer as he aimed at a zombie that was right next to Borya and shot it in the head. Sena looked down the street to see what was going on. She cupped her hands around her mouth. "Hey! Over here!" She called and waved as her brother fired off a few more shots, providing covering fire for them. She waited for them to get close enough before she turned and started climbing up the fire escape, giving the boys a good view of what was under her skirt. Akito was waiting at the top to help them the rest of the way up since the ladder stopped a few feet before the roof.

Kyou came out of the bathroom and collapsed onto the bed again. He stared up at the ceiling for a moment. "Hmm..." He suddenly reached over and under the bed, grabbing ahold of Tyree's leg and pulled him out. "Well, well, well. What do we have here?" He asked with an evil grin. He grabbed the boy and made him rolled over before moving off the bed and pinning him down. "No way you could've survived on your own if you get caught this easily. Who else is here?" He asked as he grabbed the kid's hair and locked eyes with him. Daisuke was just about to find Ryan, but suddenly stopped when he heard a commotion in the bedroom. "What the hell is that idiot doing now?" He let out a frustrated sigh and put his gun away, heading down the ladder and back into the bedroom. Daisuke stopped in the doorway for a moment, then walked over to Kyou and kicked him off the boy. "Don't be a bully. You're scaring him," Daisuke said and crossed his arms. "Ouch! What the hell!? I was just trying to get some answers!" Kyou yelled as he sat up and glared at Daisuke. Daisuke shook his head and looked at Tyree. "You okay kid? My idiot friend here didn't hurt you hopefully," he said and held out his hand to help him up. "Not yet," Kyou said with a twisted grin. Daisuke glared at him. "What? Would make good bait," Kyou said with a shrug and leaned back against the wall with his hands behind his head. "Ignore him. You hungry kiddo?" Daisuke asked and smiled at the boy.

"Hey Hikaru go search that body. I'm going to look around." Mao said as she opened a door and looked around. "Alright. Let me know if you find anything." Hikaru said as she searched a body. 'This guy looks like he was a doctor.' Hikaru thought to herself as she searched the body. Mao looked around the room it appeared to be a surveillance room. "The cameras are all still working. Okay let's take a little looksy." mao said as she looked at the screens. "Hey Mao where are you I think I found something." Hikaru said as she stood up while looking through a file. "I'm in here. I think I found a survivor on the upper floors." Mao said as Hikaru walked in with the file. Suddenly the power turned off and some red lights started flashing . "Come on let's go get that person and get out of here." Hikaru said as she headed for the stairs. "Wait up Hikaru it looked like a lot of zombies on the upper floors." Mao said as she followed Hikaru. they went up the stairs till they found the boy on the ground and a little dazed. "I got him let's go!" Hikaru said as Mao cut up a few zombies. Hikaru and Mao carried the boy out of the building as they looked for a place to go. "Mao I think we may need your skills to hot wire that van." Hikaru said as she pointed to the van parked out front. Hikaru opened up the door and placed the boy on the back seat while Mao hotwired the van.

Casey and Borya left the building and ran straight towards the horde as the started shooting zombies were dropping like flies until they were about half way there. "You know Borya sometimes I think we are a special kind of stupid to dive head first into hell like this." Casey said as they kept going. "Speak for yourself my job isn't to dive into hell but to make sure that it's full when I get there." Borya said as he was getting covered in blood. "Not my point we need to start coming up with plans before we do this shit." Casey said with a smirk. "Hey! Casey check it out hot chick!" Borya exclaimed as he looked at the girl yelling at them. "I see her and I do believe that our plans have changed." Casey said as they both started running towards the girl. they watched as she climbed ladder both looking up her skirt. "Me first!" they both said at the same time as the looked at her ass. "Sorry bro but you already got a wife." Borya said as he pushed Casey out of the way climbed up the ladder after her. "For once that asshole has beat me at logic." Casey said as he quickly followed them up the ladder.

"Nobody else just me." Tyree said as he looked at Kyou a little scared. 'Oh no the other guy must have found Tyree!" Ryan thought to himself as he heard Daisuke leaving. "No offence but saying please usually works a lot better." Tyree said as he stared at Kyou for a moment before looking back to Daisuke. "...Yeah I'm fine. He just scared me a little..." Tyree said as he looked at Daisuke not sure what to make of the man. "Yeah..." Tyree said as he nodded his head. Ryan climbed down the ladder with his pickaxe in hand and walked into the bedroom. "I'm sorry we broke into your home and used some of your supplies. We had no idea that anyone was staying here." Ryan said as he looked at Kyou and then over at Daisuke. "I thank you for stopping your companion from hurting my grandson." Ryan said as he walked over to Tyree and hugged the boy.

The file had mentioned something about a cure. It also mentioned some things about the boy as well as his name and age. It could be assumed that he was an experiment for whatever the cure was. If she continued reading, there was a small note at the end written by the man Hikaru had searched. 'My son can return this world to what it once was. He must be kept safe at all cost.' Takato's vision was blurry and he couldn't comprehend anything that was going on. When Hikaru helped him up and the two girls started pulling him out of the building. He started to snap out of his daze as Hikaru helped him into the van and looked at the two girls. He backed into the corner on the opposite side and stared at Hikaru as she got into the van. "Wh-who are you? What do you want?" He asked, his voice shakey. He jumped as the van started and covered his ears, shutting his eyes tight. His eyes shot open as the van began moving. "Wait, I can't leave! I have to stay here!" He yelled, but made no attempt to try and go anywhere near Hikaru to get back out of the van. He watched helplessly as his home started to disappear in the distance, clearly in a panic and unsure of what was happening. He buried his face in his knees. "Father said I could never leave. I was safe there from the monsters. Why are you taking me away? I should've stayed in my room and now he's going to be mad at me," he said as he began crying. It was made quite clear that he had been locked up there for a while. He had no idea what had been happening in the world, only that it was full of monsters and he had to stay because he was told to. "I wanna...I wanna go home...I wanna see father...," he said in between breaths as he began crying harder.

Sena took Akito's hand and climbed up on the roof and watched as he helped the other two men up. "You guys alright?" She asked with a smile. Sven walked over to them with his sniper resting on his shoulder. "You two are a special kind of stupid, huh?" He asked. "Be nice mister," Sena said and snapped her fingers at her brother. It was clear they were related just by how similar they looked. They were twins after all. "Well, hope you two got a good view of my sister's ass cuz that's the last time you'll be seeing it," Sven said as he knelt down next to his sister to make sure she was alright. Akito laughed. "Don't worry. He's always like that. I'm Akito," he said as he held out his hand to the two men. "That's Sven and Sena." Sena stood up along with her brother and held her hands behind her back in a cutesy manner. "It's been a while since we came across some new faces. Well...at least ones that aren't trying to eat us," she said and giggled, closing her eyes with a smile. Sven was still staring at the two men. He already didn't seem too fond of them.

Daisuke nodded and ruffled the kid's hair with his hand. "He's harmless as long as you know how to deal with him," he explained before walking over to a bag and pulling out a candy bar, tossing it to the boy. "Hey, that was mine," Kyou grumbled as he glared at Daisuke who didn't bother giving the man a response. "Little brat lied and said he was alone. You should know better than to steal kid," Kyou said with a grin as he looked at Tyree, then at the old man. Daisuke placed his foot on Kyou's head and pushed it down, holding him there. "No problem. My friend is just a rude idiot," he said to Ryan before glaring at Kyou. "And you, go for a walk and think about what you almost did to a child and maybe I'll let you get some sleep before we head out in the morning." Kyou rubbed his head and pouted with a groan. "Fine...," he said and stood up, leaving the room without a word. "He over exaggerated a bit. We do stay here, but only at night. As long as you don't attract attention, you guys can stay in the room down the hall for as long as you want. We've been meaning to move anyway. Not much left in this area so we'll be heading out at first light," Daisuke said and sat on the edge of the bed, checking to see how much ammo he had left for his pistol. "What're your names anyway? I'm Daisuke and my insane friend is Kyou," he said and glanced over at them. "Where are you two from?" He asked, just trying to make conversation. He hadn't seen actual living people since all this had started. It's just been him and Kyou, so some friendly faces were a nice change for once.

"I will read you tonight." Hikaru said as she placed the file in the center console. she sat down next to Takato. "Hikaru where should we go?" Mao asked as she started the van. "To the hide out." Hikaru said as she looked at Takato. "My names is Hikaru. I want to be your friend." she said as she gave him a warm gentle smile. "Why do you have to stay?" Hikaru asked as she tried to calm him down. "Hey do I need to come back there and shut him up?" Mao asked annoyed with his yelling. "Mao you focus on driving I'll take care of him." Hikaru said as she looked at him. "You were the only person there who was still alive... Your home was no longer safe there were a lot of monsters there..." Hikaru said trying to calm him down. "I'm sorry but we are taking you to a new home." Hikaru said as she slowly inched closer to him. "Hey Mao how far are we?" Hikaru asked as she looked at Mao. "Only a few miles from here." Mao said as she looked at the kid in the rear view mirror.

"Yeah we're fine now that we are looking at an angel." Borya said not wasting any time hitting on Sena. "Yeah I guess that's one way to put it." Casey said as he laughed at the comment. "No he's right in fact my friend here was just saying that a few minutes ago." Borya said with a chuckle. "He was the only one with a view... the only view I had was of his ass. ....Worst view ever." Casey said as he look at Sven. "I wouldn't mind getting another view. after all it has been a while since I last saw a girl." Borya said being blunt. "I'm Casey and this is my friend Borya." he said as he introduced themselves to the others. "good to meet you both." Borya said as he winked at Sena. "Yeah we know the feeling." Casey said with a smile as he walked over to shake Sven's hand.

"You might need to teach me how to do that." Tyree said as he looked at Daisuke. "Thank you." Tyree said as he smiled at Daisuke. "What's wrong are you afraid of an old man and his pickaxe?" Ryan said as he looked at Kyou. "In my experience there is always one in every group." Ryan said as he looked from Kyou to Daisuke. "We thank you for your hospitality. We would like to join you if you would allow us to tag along that is." Ryan said in a respectful tone. "My name is Ryan and this is my grandson Tyree." he said as he introduced himself. "We are from a small ranch about 2 days from here." Tyree said as he opened the wrapper to eat the candy bar. "You guys are the first people we've seen in two years.... Well living people anyway." Ryan said as he smiled at Daisuke.

Takato didn't bother to look up at Hikaru, just pulled his knees closer in an attempt to get as far from the girl as possible. He had a wall up that was going to be hard to bring down. "Father said...I had to stay in my room..." He had never questioned it. He only did what he was told until today. He slowly lifted his head as he continued to listen to the girl. He wasn't sure how to take the news that he was the only one alive there. "A new...home?" He asked as he noticed the girl moving closer to him. He didn't make an attempt to continue backing away, not that he really could. He stared at Hikaru, then tilted his head to the side with a slightly confused look. They did just save him from those things. His attention was caught by what was outside the window. He had never seen anything like it and seemed pretty interested in everything in the city, particularly in the plant life. He was like a curious child on a road trip to someplace they had never been before from the way he stared out the window. "Where are we going?" He asked, not taking his eyes off the window. After a moment, he turned around and sat on his knees, putting his hands on the window as he looked around fascinated.

Kyou wandered the streets, taking his time killing the few zombies wandering around. He let out a sigh as he looked around. They had pretty much kept the neighborhood clear and had already raided all of the houses nearby. He decided to wander a little farther than normal, hoping to find some more fun than the occasional zombie. "Damn bastard needs to learn not to trust so quickly," he mumbled and closed his eyes. He opened his eyes and grinned when he saw a small group of walkers. "Not as many as I was hoping, but it'll do for now." He ran in the middle of the street and started taking them out one by one. He put his foot on the chest of the last one and pulled his sword out of the undead's head. "It's not even a challenge anymore." He let out a sigh and started down the street again, heading even further from their little home. He stopped and glanced back when he noticed a light. A car? He slid one hand into his pocket as it drew closer, sword in hand in case he needed to defend himself. He took a step back to make sure he wouldn't get hit, though didn't make much of an effort to be quick about it and nearly got hit. 'We don't see people for years and now everyone decides to show up out of nowhere?' He thought as the van stopped, though he couldn't make out faces through the tinted windows. "Watch where you're going dumbass," he said and kicked the driver side door. "Who is that?" Takato asked as he stared out the window at the man for a moment before looking at Hikaru. The man was covered in blood and seemed to have his guard up, ready for whoever came out of the vehicle.

Sena blushed and giggled. "Aww, you're sweet," she said with a sweet smile at Borya. Sven didn't seem amused by Borya's comments about his sister, but stayed pretty quiet. Akito started laughing at Casey. "Oh man, I'm so sorry." Sena placed her hand on her cheek and closed her eyes with a big smile, finding it kind of flattering as Borya flirted with her. Sven shook Casey's hand before looking at his sister. "You aren't seriously falling for his crappy charm?" He asked her. "Oh lighten up big brother," Sena said as she clung to her brother's arm. "Why don't you two join us for some dinner? I found some snacks in the store," she suggested as she looked at the two men. Akito walked over and sat down by all their things. Sven sighed and walked over to the opposite side of the building and sat down, keeping an eye out on the street. Sena had followed him and sat on her knees, the two talking quietly together. "Don't worry about Sven. He is pretty protective of his sister. They're almost inseparable so you may want to lighten up on the flirting a little," Akito suggested as he looked at Borya. "So where are you two from?" He asked as he started going through Sena's bag to see what she had found.

"Kyou is like a dog. Show him you aren't afraid of him and he'll leave you alone," Daisuke explained to the boy. "Anytime kid." He looked at the two of them for a moment. "I don't see any problem with that. Convincing Kyou might be a little harder though," he said and pulled out a bottle of water. "Nice to meet you both," he said and opened the bottle. "Same for us. We both went to the college on the other end of town. We had never even talked to each other before everything happened. Kyou saved my life, so I owe him a lot and just stuck with him ever since." He took a drink before he looked at them. "I'm going to head downstairs and wait for Kyou to get back. Feel free to use whatever you need and get some rest." He stood up and looked at Tyree for a moment. "Hey kid, that weapon of yours isn't going to be much help. You want to learn how to properly use a gun? We can work on some shooting tomorrow but you should learn how to use it safety first. If it's alright with your grandfather," he suggested before looking at Ryan to see if it was okay.

"He wouldn't have wanted you to stay there with all the monsters." Hikaru said as she slowly moved closer to Takato. "Yes we are taking you to your new home. From now on you get to live with us ...Your new family." Hikaru said as she was sitting as close to him as possible. Hikaru leaned in and wrapped her arms around him. "We are going to a house on the edge of town where we are staying." she said as she watched how excited he was to see so much new stuff. "I see a group of zombies that are about to be road kill." Mao said as she drove the car into the group of zombies hearing the bones snap and their blood spattering as the van ran them over.

Mao rolled down the window as she glared at Kyou. "This coming from a some stupid fucker standing in the middle of the road?" Mao asked as she looked at the man. "Some stupid mother fucker who is in my way." Mao said as she turned back to look at Hikaru and Takato. 'Damn he seeing that guy covered in blood is turning me on a little.' Mao thought to herself as she looked back at the man. "Hey there sexy how much do you charge?" Mao asked as she looked at Kyou with a smirk.

"Thanks I try." Borya said with a smirk as he kept trying to flirt with Sena. "Thanks I need something to get that mental image out of my head." Casey said as covered his eyes with his hand for a moment. "Hey my charm isn't that crappy." Borya said as he looked over at Sven. "I wouldn't mind. At least then we can have some new people to talk to." Casey said as he smiled at her. "Nope I'm just going to flirt more with her." Borya said as he looked at Sena. "I'm from America and the flirt over there is from mother Russia." Casey said with a smile.

"Sounds like my ex-daughter in-law." Ryan said as smiled. "Why? He seems to listen to you?" Tyree asked with a confused look on his face. "Same here." Ryan said with a smile. "I see. Well it looks like you two are good friends now at least." Tyree said with a smile. "Thanks I think we will take you up on that offer. it has been a while since we had a good rest." Ryan said as he looked over at Tyree, "I would love too." Tyree said with a smile. "I agree it would be good for the boy." Ryan said as he headed for the room down the hall.

Takato looked down for a moment, wondering if it really was for the best that he had left the only home he knew. He glanced at Hikaru as she moved closer to him. "My new...family?" He kept a close eye on her as she sat right next to him. His body tensed the moment she wrapped her arms around him and squirmed out of her arms, falling onto the floor. He backed into the corner behind the driver's seat, staring at Hikaru. She was going to have to try harder to get him to realize she wouldn't hurt him. It wasn't really the reason why he acted that way when she touched him though. He had gone without his entire life and honestly wasn't sure how to handle it. His father never even held him. He relaxed a little as he continued to stare at Hikaru. The girl's smile made him feel kind of weird, almost warm, but he wasn't sure what it meant. After a moment, his expression softened and he completely relaxed again. He crawled back over to her, staying on the floor as he looked up at the girl with an innocent look. He hesitated for a second, then laid his head in her lap and rested his hand on her leg before closing his eyes. He was kind of like a cat. He wanted the attention and he craved her warmth and caring nature. He laid there for a bit before lifting his head and looking at her again. "My name is Takato," he said, deciding he could trust her enough to tell her his name.

Kyou couldn't help it as a smirk crossed his lips the moment Mao opened her mouth. He liked them feisty. He leaned towards the window as he took a moment to examine the woman. "I've never been one to follow the rules. Makes life a bit more interesting." He raised an eyebrow as his smirk grew at her comment. "Enough to get by, though for you I may give a generous discount," he said, obviously flirting with Mao. He stepped closer to the vehical and got as close to the woman's face as possible without making any physical contact. "Does daddy know you're out past curfew trying to pick up strangers?" He asked as his eyes locked with hers. He stood up straight and put his weapon away. "Well, if you're looking for a good time sweetheart then you're picking up the right stranger. That is, if you want the company," he suggested with a flirtatious grin.

Akito shook his head and looked at Borya with a smile. "Well, expect to get smacked around by Sven then," he said and looked over at the twins, watching them for a moment. "You two are a long way from home," he said as he pulled out some food from the bag and tossed it to them. Sena walked back over to them with her hands behind her back and closed her eyes with a smile. "My brother is going to keep watch," she said and sat down next to Akito. "So are you really from Russia? What's it like there?" She asked curiously, a bit interested. Sven glanced over at the small group, keeping an eye on his sister and the russian coming onto her.

Daisuke shrugged. "Well, he listens for the most part, but has made it clear he doesn't like kids much," he explained to them as he stood up. He nodded. "Yeah. More like brothers actually." He waved Ryan off when he left the room as he grabbed his weapon and a small towel. He walked over to the door and motioned for Tyree to follow. "Come on kid. If you're up for it, I'll teach you how to take a gun apart and put it back together," he said before heading downstairs. He sat down on the couch, leaning over the coffee table while he waited for a moment to see if Tyree had gone to bed with his grandfather or if he had decided to follow him downstairs.

"Yes we are going to be your new family." Hikaru said in a kind caring voice. As Takato moved away from her she held out her hand hoping he would come closer to her. "Come on you don't need to worry. I won't hurt you." Hikaru said as she gave him a warm smile. Hikaru started to rub Takato's head gently as he laid his head in her lap. She watched him for a minute thinking how she could get him to warm up to her. "It's nice to meet you Takato. You have a beautiful name." Hikaru said as she looked into his eyes.

"Well I guess that makes two of us then." Mao said in a seductive voice as she flirted back with Kyou. "Really now I might just have to take you up on that offer." Mao said with a smirk as kept her eyes on him. "Who did you think I learned it from? Besides Daddy always told me if I see something I want that I should just take it," she said, enjoying how flirtatious he was being. "Then I think you should get in and we can find somewhere private to continue this unless you don't mind an audience that is." Mao said with a smirk she was already starting to get a little wet, and something about him being covered in blood only turned her on more. Mao watched as Kyou climbed into the passengers seat. As he closed the door she started driving off to the house.

"Eh I've had worse. Trust me." Borya said with a smirk before he started laughing. "Yeah I came out here looking for....." Casey said as he stopped talking and turned his head and looked around at the city. "I was stationed out here. I was two days away from going back to mother Russia." Borya said as he shrugged and shook his head. "Okay." Casey said as he smiled at Sena. "Yeah I'm really from Russia. Russia is.... Cold and full of vodka. The girls in Russia aren't as beautiful as you." Borya said as he grinned at Sena.

"I can tell... he really didn't like me." Tyree said as he rubbed his head. "I guess you have a special bond." Tyree said as he got up and stretched. Tyree followed Daisuke and waved at his grandfather. "Alright that sounds like it could be a useful thing to know." Tyree said as the walked down stairs with Daisuke. "so let's see how this thing works." Tyree said excitedly as he sat down next to him.

"I've...always wanted a family," Takato said as he looked at her and smiled a little. He liked the idea. He had always imagined what it would be like to have one, but never thought it was possible. He flinched a little when Hikaru touched his head, but didn't make an attempt to back away this time. He locked eyes with Hikaru for a moment as she complimented his name and felt his heart skip a beat. His father had always told him to be careful and never trust anyone, but he liked how nice this girl was to him. He sat up on his knees and wrapped his arms around her waist, mimicking what she had done to him earlier and held her as he closed his eyes with a smile. "You have a pretty name too Hikaru," he said, wanting to make her smile too. He looked over his shoulder as Kyou got into the car for a moment before laying his head on Hikaru's chest so she could continue rubbing his head, keeping his arms wrapped around her and closed his eyes. He was a little more relaxed around her, but still wasn't sure about the other two in the front. He didn't really understand what the two were talking about, but was a little interested in finding out. Though he was unsure if he should ask.

Kyou grinned as Mao flirted back with him. He wasn't expecting to get lucky tonight, or ever again for that matter. "And take it you shall. Doesn't take much to convince me sweetheart," he said. "I'm fine with either," he said and walked to the other side of the van, hopping in the passenger seat. He glanced back at the two in the backseat and smirked. "Well, they can watch or they can join in. Or do each other. I could care less," he said and crossed one leg over the other before putting his attention back on Mao. "So, you got a name or am I going to have to work for it?" He asked as he took a moment to admire the woman's body, already imagining what she looked like without those constricting clothes.

Akito looked at Casey for a moment when the man stopped mid-sentence. His family? Wife maybe? It was hard not knowing if someone was alive or dead. He knew that feeling all too well. Sena giggled and smiled at Borya. "You are really sweet," she said. "That's cool. It's kind of nice to have some new faces after..." Akito stopped and looked down for a moment. "There were more of us," Sena said with a small smile and a sad look in her eyes. "My boyfriend, a mother and her daughter, a couple and another girl who was about Akito's age," she continued to explain. "Yeah...our camp got over run and unfortunately, a lot of us didn't make it," Akito added and rubbed his head. "Well, we would be dead too if it wasn't for Haru-chan. She led them away and saved our lives," Sena said with a big smile. "Yeah, I wonder if she was able to get away?" Akito asked himself before taking a bite of his food. Sena giggled. "I miss her stories. She used to read us these letters from an American soldier that she literally risked her life to protect. Sven used to get a little jealous how she always talked about him," Sena said and giggled again. "That's cuz he likes her. He's been making us look for Haru since we were separated almost a month ago," Akito said with a grin as he glanced over at Sven for a moment. Sena paused for a moment as she looked at Casey. "Are you alright?" She asked when she saw his expression, a little concerned. When he asked her where they had last seen Haruko, she reached into her bag and pulled out a map. "We lost her in this sector of town...but she did like going over here on her own," Sena explained as she pointed to an area of the map that was a few hours from their. "It's closed off. We haven't been able to find a way in. We've looked a few times hoping to see her, but haven't had any luck. She was always quite the climber and probably the most daring of our group. I know there is one way in, but we have yet to find it," she said and looked at Casey. (I think you should have Casey go by himself and just pick a place to have everyone meet up on the map)

Daisuke shrugged as he sat down on the couch. "He'll grow on you in time. Just give him a chance," he said. He smiled a little as the kid sat down next to him. "Here, this is how you turn the safety on and off," he said as he handed Tyree the gun and showed him how to do it. "This is how you unload it," he said as he took the clip out and showed Tyree how to put it back in now that the safety was on. "You have to clean it every once in a while so it won't jam on you when you need it the most," he explained and began telling the boy how to take each piece apart and had him set them on the table. "What was it like on the farm? Did you have any animals?" He asked, trying to make conversation as he showed the kid how to clean each piece of the weapon. Once they were finished, he looked at Tyree and smiled. "You think you can put it back together?" He asked, seeing if Tyree remembered which parts go where and in what order.

"Come on Yui, don't be scared," Haruko said as she held out her hand to help Yui up onto the rubble of a collapsed building. "I really wanted to stay behind. I don't like it out here at night," Yui said nervously as she took the girl's hand and hopped up. "I'm tired of scavenging for food. I want to try and catch a rabbit or a deer. They wander around the quiet areas and it's early in the morning. That's the best time to hunt," Haruko said with a smile. Yui held her gun to her chest and nodded. "Okay," Yui whispered, still sounding nervous. Haruko gave her a gentle smile and pulled her scarf up over her mouth. She hopped down the other side of the building and looked around, keeping as quiet as possible. They were in a quieter part of town where many of the zombies were too stupid to find, There were several collapsed buildings blocking off this sector of town and she had only found one way that was safe enough to get in. A lot of overgrowth was here, as well as quite a bit of wildlife that climbs the rubble for a peaceful place. Haruko called it her hunting grounds. Not having to worry about the walkers, she could relax and enjoy hunting. She used to come here by herself, but recently started bringing someone with her to keep her company. Yui stayed up on the building, keeping a birds eye view of everything. She shivered and hugged herself as the wind blew while she watched Haruko disappear in the brush. She looked around nervously, looking in every direction she heard the slightest noise. (So in my next post the sun will have started to come up so if you want you could have Casey spot the girl after the few hour walk)

"Don't worry she's nice as long as you don't make her angry." Hikaru said as she smiled at him while still rubbing his head.

"Good to know." Mao said with a smirk. "I think we should find somewhere a little safer after all I am a screamer." Mao said as she grinned at Kyou. "I think it's a little soon for them." Mao said as she looked back at Hikaru and Takato in the back. "You're going to have to work for it." Mao said in a seductive voice as she placed her hand on his crotch. "Okay here we are home shity home." Mao said as they pulled up to a house with a brick wall around it. "Come on Mr. You and I are taking this to my room." Mao said with a smirk. It had been so long since the last time she had sex her panties were a little wet just thinking about it.

"Thanks I'm not really use to getting complements." Borya said as he rubbed his head. "Let me guess you lost some people didn't you?" Casey said as he placed his hand on Akito's shoulder. Casey sat there listening to Sena talk about the girl. Casey's hair was shadowing over his eyes. "Yes now that I know the girl I came here looking for might still be alive. I need to know where you last saw her at." Casey said as he looked up at Sena. "Thank you I'll keep that in mind." Casey said as he took out his map. "Thanks for dinner and for the company but I need to leave." Casey said as he reached for his rifle and marked the location on his own map. After Casey finished listening to Sena talk he grabbed hi bag and climbed down the building. "As much as I would love to stay and continue flirting with you I need to make sure he doesn't get himself killed." Borya said as he waved to Sena as he ran after Casey.

"If you say so." Tyree said as he looked at Daisuke. "Okay so that is what keeps the gun from going off?" Tyree asked as he watched closely. "How many bullets can you fit in the magazine?" Tyree asked as he watched Daisuke unload the gun. "Are you going to field strip the gun?" he asked with a puzzled look on his face. "It was hard work but it was good growing our own food, raising livestock, and fixing things." Tyree said as he thought about just how much his life had changed in the past two years. "It can't be any harder than when I use to help my dad fix clocks." he said as he looked down at the dissembled gun. Tyree started looking at the gun and picking up the pieces and putting them back in the right place until he got to the magazine not realizing he was trying to put it in backwards.

"Borya you know you didn't have to come with me right?" Casey asked as he looked up at a street sign. "I know but I wanted to see what could possibly make this one chick so special. I mean come on man if you've seen one chick naked you've seen them all right?" Borya asked as he looked at Casey with a smirk. "Really is that what you really think of women?" Casey asked as they kept walking. "Only the ones I'm not having sex with and the ones I've already had sex with." Borya said with a grin. "You're drunk aren't you?" Casey asked as he stopped an looked at Borya. "Yup how can you tell?" Borya asked as he started walking again. "Because that is the only time you are ever a sexist pig. which reminds me where do you keep getting alcohol anyways?" Casey asked as they turned a corner. "You look for stuff you like and I do the same let's leave at that." Borya said with a chuckle. "Look there it is the area she liked to go. Okay there is a bar three blocks from here let's meet up there if we get separated." Casey said as he started running to the collapsed buildings. Casey started climbing the buildings to get to the other side." As Casey got to the top of the building he looked through his scope and noticed two girls. "Well with any luck one of those two girls will be Haruko or at least know where I can find her." Casey said as he lowered his rifle. Borya ran ahead of Casey when he was looking threw his scope. Casey started climbing down the building as he slipped and rolled down the building.

He grinned as she said he was going to have to work to get her name and watched as her hand moved to his crotch. She called and waved goodbye to Borya, knowing he was still close enough to hear her. It was a little motel just on the edge of the eastern part of town. They had planned to go there in an attempt to barricade the place and create a small temporary compound. Now that they had some extra hands, it would make the task a bit easier. Not to mention that it was near the forest and a river and finding food and water would be much easier.

Haruko drew her bow and readied an arrow as she prepared to shoot a rabbit that was hiding in the grass. She released the arrow and hit her target on the mark. "Yes!" She closed her eyes with an accomplished smile. She looked at Yui just to make sure the girl was still alright. She noticed another figure running towards Yui. Her heart skipped a beat as fear washed over her and quickly stood up. "Oh no, Yui!" She started to run towards the girl only to have something fall on top of her and knock her to the ground. She held her head. "Owww..." She groaned and opened her eyes, her vision becoming clear to see a man on top of her...his face buried in her chest. Tyree said trying to calm Daisuke down a little, as his face became more flush by the second. Tyree let out a soft moan of pleasure as Daisuke touched the marks on his neck.
