Blood Bonds

It's the year 2000. A war between vampires, werewolves and humans had raged for many thousand years but 100 years ago the werewolves were driven away for good(humans think) and humans and vampires have engaged in an alliance, where the vampires promised to hunt down werewolves and that way protect humankind in return for peace, land and blood donated from the hospitals' blood supplies.

There are 4 vampire lords with a mansion each and a few hundred vampires as subs along with a butler etc.

Many years passed with peace and order until the day a new werewolf arrived at the wolf pack far away and frequent werewolf attacks has begun to occur and the vampire lords has to take action. The vampire lords have meetings in which they discuss strategies, demands from the humans, how the alliance is going, the werewolves' progress and much more. They pull in vampires from all over the world to attend the meetings but in the end they have the last word, despite even that being an endless discussion that most vampires at present can laugh at afterwards(They disagree quite a lot).

You can choose between human, werewolf or vampire.
You can choose to be a vampire or human close to the vampire lords and attend and have influence at the meetings(Council etc)

History: Dimitri was one of the few first vampires that came to the world. He has owned the mansion for countless of years being feared and hated by the humans, werewolves and many vampires as well. When he was 50, he had already claimed his current residence and turned Wilson, his faithful butler. He was one of the vampire lords the humans struggled most with regarding the alliance, but he has found peace with it and keeps a promise. Him and Wilson frequently hunt down werewolves and slay them, but he uses guns for easy and fast kills without getting his hands dirty. At meetings he tends to part with Kelly.

History: Viktor was one of the greatest warriors on the werewolves' side, but said to disappear mysteriously as the werewolves were about to lose. He wandered the lands alone and turned thousands of innocent humans to join the pack. The ones he turned immediately headed for the werewolf base while Viktor remained alone. He has been keeping the werewolf population decent in a long period of time secretly, but has now decided to return to his pack.

She joined the police when she was 24 and ha sliked it ever since.

Dimitri's gun was still smoking after he had fired the last shot directly at the werewolf's forehead. He watched the werewolf fall down dead with a silver bullet in its brain. He slung his gun and placed it in his belt, and then turned to Wilson. "A good night's hunt" he smirked. "A very good night's hunt indeed, sir. But we should head back before the meetings starts" Wilson replied while scouting the area for more werewolves. Dimitri nodded. "You're right. Let's get going" Dimitri turned around and began heading towards the mansion. Wilson turned around as well, scouting behind them occasionally.

In meanwhile, Sophie was in the mansion cleaning and preparing bloody drinks for the guests. "Damn.. The preparations for all these meetings take like all day..." she complained while dusting off a table. She then put down the duster and started pulling out more tables and chairs. "I can't believe more than 100 vampires attend each meeting.. It's insanity" she sighed at all the work she had ahead of her with all the chairs. They were heavy wooden benches and chairs that she could barely move. She used all of her body weight to move the benches up the wall for the less important vampires to sit on and ornamented wooden chairs with beautiful carvings all over them to the tables where the vampire lords and a few others would sit. "Hmm... He's late... Must have been a lot of work to do tonight" she chuckled at the thought. She finished moving furniture around and dusting off and left the room.

Kelly sat up in her bed. She looked at the clock and stood up quick. She was naked and had to dress up properly for the meeting that was in just a few hours. She got dressed quickly and sat her hair. When she was done fixing herself up she looked at the time and then out of the window. "It only took me 10 minutes. That's quick" she thought to herself as she approached the window and looked at the horizon. "I wish I could still survive the sunset and daylight.." she dreamed herself back to when she was still human.

Marc had been awake all night just like Dimitri and Wilson, but he was at his own mansion. He had been inspecting the fighting skills of his soldiers all night, taking individual sessions with each one to see their skills. He had them all gathered on the courtyard and walked back and forth in front of them. "Very nice work. You have all improved. That's progress" he said sternly and left them at the courtyard as he walked inside. He sat down at his desk only a few rooms from the entrance and began looking through some documents. "This month's blood supplies is only 200 gallons... And we get blood from all over the world... That's bad..." he thought as he made a line under that paragraph. "I gotta mention that at the meeting" he growled to himself. His eyes caught the empty glass on his desk and he stood up in a split second. "Amelia?! Why have you not filled my glass?!" he asked sternly, hoping for an answer.

Cassandra had spent the entire night thinking about the meeting. "How can I gain influence..." she had thought to herself all night as she had looked up at the ceiling. She walked past a window in the hall and caught the shadow of a figure in the dark. "Hmm... Is that a werewolf or vamp-" she got interrupted by a werewolf jumping through the window and landing in a room in front of her. "Well.. That explains it" she thought as she approached the werewolf lying on the floor. It had seemingly passed out from the extra hit with the door, that was now broken. "Good thing I have weapons in all rooms" she said and opened a closet with a few blades in it, a halberd and some more. "Hmm.. I'm in halberd mod today.." she took out the halberd and closed the closet door. She swung it at the werewolf, that had gained just enough consciousness to growl and spit at her before coming with the last death scream as its throat was slashed open. She placed the halberd through the werewolf's heart and left it there as she exited the room.

Amelia looked over at Marc when he yelled about his glass not being filled. "I'm sorry m'lord. It wont happen again," she said as she quickly filled his glass. She took a few steps back with an emotionless expression. "Is there anything else?" She asked just to be sure before she left to avoid getting yelled at again. It never seemed to bother her though. It was more that she didn't like her master to be unhappy for any reason.

Hikaru walked down the hallway and stopped at the door to Kelly's room. He lifted his free hand and knocked on the door. "Are you awake m'lady?" He asked as he opened the door and turned his head towards her direction. "Good. You're already up," he said, walking over to the small table and setting down a tray with a glass filled with blood on it. "Staring out the window again I see. I seem to be finding you there more often. Is something on your mind?" He asked her curiously as he turned in her direction again and stood up straight. How he was able to 'see' anything was a mystery to most. In fact, as long as her feet were on the ground, he was able to see her from head to toe in a way.

Sebastian sighed when he heard the sound of glass breaking. 'What could it be this time?' He thought to himself as he rubbed his head and closed his eyes. He turned and headed towards the room he had heard it coming from and stopped when he saw Cassandra leaving the room. He walked a little closer and looked inside, not really surprised when he saw a dead werewolf on the floor. He was more annoyed of the fact that he would have to replace the window and clean up the mess. "Shall I take care of this now or after we get back from the meeting?"

Ellie stood in the shadows of an alley as she waited for the sun to set completely. She lifted her hand and licked some leftover blood from her latest victim off her fingers. "Such a waist. He was a fun little toy. If only he didn't try to run away." She smirked and walked out of the shadows as she began to wonder what she should do now. 'I could attend that meeting for once. It could be fun. But it's not like I have anything to over.' She chuckled a little and began to wonder what the other vampires were like. She normally avoided other vampires if it was possible, but for some reason, it has been peeking her curiousity.

Raiden walked through the police station towards the locker rooms. He looked down, starting to regret coming in to work. His recent partner had been killed during a shootout the day before and knew he was getting new partner today. Who they were or what they were like, he wasn't sure. He did know, however, that he was going to have to drag around a new kid to the force until he got used to things. He sighed at the thought. He already knew who Zander was since he had helped train some of the newer recruits back at the academy this past summer. All he knew, was that he felt sorry for whoever his partner was going to be. He walked into the locker room and gave Zander an annoyed look as he walked over to his locker and grabbed his belt and put it on. He put on his shirt and sighed to what Zander was saying. 'I can't wait til this whole babysitting thing is over. If I get lucky, my new partner will deal with him more and I wont have to do much,' he thought as he put his guns on his belt and grabbed his badge.

Zander was sitting on the floor with his hands behind his head, leaning up against the wall. He looked up and smiled when he saw Raiden. "Cool! Looks like we get to work together for a while!" He said as he stood up, excited that he was working with his favorite instructor from the academy. "So what do we get to do?! I'm so excited! I hope I do well on my first day!" He didn't even care that Raiden didn't respond as he started getting more and more excited by the second.

Sakura had finished her patrol and placed her finger on the headset in her ear. "All clear where I'm at. Doesn't look like we're going to have any problems tonight, but just in case, I think I'll do one more sweep of the perimitter." Once she got the confirmation from the others, she began backtracking her steps. 'We havn't had too many problems lately. Hopefully tonight is another quiet night.'

Christie ran up to her brother, transforming back into her human form and in a slight panic. "James!" She yelled, out of breath from the non-stop running. "We lost a few more members of the pack to those damn vampires."

James looked up from his notes as his sister called out his name. "Where did you go? I was worried about you." He took a drag off his cigarette as he listened to her and sighed, exhaling the smoke. "Why are you telling me? Shouldn't you be telling Viktor?" He closed his eyes and took another puff. "Besides...," he started as he exhaled the smoke again. "...It's nothing new. We lose members daily it seems, but we gain more than we lose so it's not much of a loss. It's their fault for not being strong enough to take on a few worthless vampires."

Marc took the glass and drank it. "Thank you. That would be all for now." he said and sat down, looking through a few other documents when he realized the time. "Amelia, before you go. Are you attending today's meeting?" he asked and folded a piece of paper while looking at her. He put the paper in the drawer and continued to look at Amelia for response. "It would be interesting if you have never attended it before" he continued with a slight smile.

Kelly greeted Sebastian with a nod as he put down the tray. "Something on my mind? No. Well yes." she continued to look out of the window but then at Hikaru. "I'm just missing the feeling of being human... Watching the sunset without feeling pain..." she sighed. "Don't you ever miss that? I mean not that you could see the sunset but... Nevermind me" she sighed again. "I'm just rambling. Would you like a drink as well?" Hikaru's company cheering her up.

Cassandra turned to Sebastian. "You're silent" she chuckled. "I didn't even hear you coming, but about the mess. Just throw the werewolf out of the window and clean it up after the meeting" Cassandra approached Sebastian. "I see you dressed up for the occasion. You're handsome today" she chuckled in a sweet way eyeing him up. "I'll mention this incident at the meeting. It's the second time this week" she sighed.

Wilson and Dimitri entered the mansion. Sophie greeted them. "Sir. The meeting room is prepared" she bowed slightly and offered each of them a drink. "Would you like a drink? You must be tired, since you're so late" she chuckled and went into the kitchen. "B+ or A?(Correct me if those aren't bloodtypes)" she asked from the kitchen as she took out two glasses from the cabinet. Dimitri looked at Wilson, then to the kitchen. "B+. Why don't you have a drink as well? I can imagine you've had a busy night as well with the preparations" Dimitri proposed nicely. Sophie came out of the kitchen with 3 glasses and a bottle of B+. "I'd like that, sir" she smiled widely at the appreciation and concern. "How was tonight's hunt?" she asked curiously as she sat down the glasses and bottle. She pulled out three chairs around a round table and sat down. Dimitri and Wilson sat down as well as Sophie began pouring up the blood. "It was long, but we got a lot done. I think it came down to 60 or was it 65?" he looked at Wilson for confirmation. Wilson nodded. "65 I believe" he said and took a glass. Sophie nodded. "That was quite a lot, they must be growing in numbers then. That or you two are just very skillful hunters" she said while moving the glass to her mouth. She took a sip. Dimitri chuckled a bit at the compliment. "I'd prefer the last. Before I forget, would you like to attend the meeting?" Dimitri asked and took a sip as well. "Yes sir, I'd love to, but shouldn't I prepare the horse carriages and send them to the other mansions?" she took another sip and stood up awaiting his response. Dimitri nodded. "That'd be a great idea, we can't have the other lords arrive by foot or car" he nodded again. Sophie bowed to each of them and left the room.

Danielle sat up. She had trouble sleeping. "What time is it even..." she rubbed her eyes and looked at the time. "Only 5 am... I got another few hours of sleep then" she threw herself down at the bed and covered her face with a pillow. "I should really get laid..." she complained in her pillow. She always said the most random things when she was sleepy, important things or just silly things. She silently went back to sleep.

Viktor left the house he had just been in in human form. He had turned the family along with many others in the area but new families seemed to keep moving in. But of course they hadn't gotten the story for why the houses were for sale nor what had happened in them. "It seems to finally be paying off... We grow in numbers by the day" he chuckled as he roamed the wastelands for more houses with families in. "Perhaps I should go to the cities... But they have police... Not that they can stop me with their bullets!" he chuckled loudly as he looked up at Marc's mansion. "I haven't seen this before..." he went closer to investigate.

Amelia nodded and turned to leave, but stopped as Marc addressed her again and looked over her shoulder at him. "I wasn't really planning on going," she said as she turned to face him. "But if you think I should, then I will. This would be my first time attending." She began to wonder what he meant by 'it would be interesting if she hadn't attended before', but didn't really question it too much.

Hikaru listened to her in silence as she spoke. He turned his head back to the window when she asked if he missed watching the sunset. "I do miss it actually. I remember the last one I watched before my accident like it was yesterday. Even now though, I at least miss the warmth from it." He turned his head back in her direction when she asked if he wanted a drink as well. "No, thank you." He reached up and tightened his blindfold a little, then dropped his arms back to his sides. "I'm not a big fan of drinking from a glass. I perfer it fresh from the source to be perfectly honest."

Sebastion rubbed his head and smiled a little. "Sorry about that miss." He nodded and started to turn, but stopped when she approached him. "Thank you, but I typically dress like this. I'm not sure what exactly I did different this time," he said, a little confused. He nodded in agreement and walked into the room, picking up the body and tossing it out the window, careful not to get any blood on him. He brushed off his hands. "They're getting more bold each day it seems. I'm getting quite tired of them myself since I'm the one who has to clean up the messes they make."

Raiden motioned for Zander to follow him, getting annoyed by his excited tone for some reason. He breathed a sigh as they headed to the parking garage. 'I'm going to end up punching this kid.' He turned his head to Zander. "Shut up rookie," he said bluntly as he unlocked the car for them. He sat down in the drivers seat and started to get even more annoyed by the second. "No, you can't drive yet. Just be quiet and observe today, got it?" He said in response to Zander's question as he started the car and got ready to do his patrol for the morning.

Zander continued rambling on about how cool everything was that he was an officer and that he hoped they would get to do something exciting, but was a little surprised when he was told to shut up and kind of pouted. He opened the passenger door and sat down, looking around at everything. "Hey Raiden, can I drive!?" He asked excitedly, but became disappointed when he was told no and to stay quiet. He closed his door and crossed his arms, pouting again. 'That's no fun at all...I hope we get to shoot something today at least...'

Sophie had arrived at the stable and prepared the horse carriages. She had prepared all three when the drivers came out. "Just in time it seems" she said and left the horse carriages to the drivers. She turned around and saw each take a different direction as they headed for the three mansions.

Sophie walked back into the room that Dimitri and Wilson was sitting in. "The horse carriages are heading for the other mansions" she said and sat down on the chair she had sat on earlier.

Dimitri nodded. "That was fast, great job" he said and poured some more blood up for Sophie. "Sit down and relax with us. You deserve it" he continued. Sophie took a sip and looked at Wilson. "You don't talk much, do you?" she asked Wilson. Wilson shook his head a bit. "Not really. I prefer staying in the back and observing" he replied and took a sip as well. "I see. That's understandable" she said with a smile and then looked at both of them. "So what's the meeting about?" she asked with excitement in her voice. "That would depend, but I think the main topic today is about werewolves as they seem to get even closer and bigger in numbers" Dimitri replied. Wilson nodded in agreement. "Yes, just this night we found a whole bunch of werewolf camps located closer than normal" Wilson said and took a sip and then emptied the glass. Dimitri continued. "Indeed, and last week Cassandra mentioned an increasing number of werewolf break-ins" he looked at Wilson who made a face. "What?" Wilson asked as if he had been told off. "Don't make that face. She's a vampire lord as well and she has rights... Sadly" Dimitri stopped talking and looked at Sophie with a stern look. "You never heard us say that" he said. Sophie caught the meaning of it. "Say what?" she giggled with a blink in her eye. Dimitri chuckled a bit and so did Wilson. "You're pretty alright" Wilson said but couldn't help but smile a bit.

Marc opened a drawer while listening to Amelia. He took out another document and signed it. "That's great. He always sends a sort of transport, so be ready." he said and folded the document and put it into an envelope. He closed it. "Can you go send this to the president? It's a demand for a bigger blood supply" he handed it to Amelia.

Kelly nodded in agreement. "I do too, but sadly the peace treaty with the humans only provide us with blood supplies lately, however, I do like to get a little snack a time or two a week without killing them" she giggled. "I suppose you've noticed that I go out a few nights a week?" she closed the window and then approached Hikaru. "Are you attending or are you taking care of the mansion while I'm gone?"

Cassandra agreed. "They do indeed get bolder for each day that passes. I even put it up for discussion last week but that old man and Kelly haven't done anything to stop it. At least Marc is training his soldiers, but are they? Not at all, I doubt they even have soldiers" she chuckled taunting. "Not that I have soldiers, but I have a strong butler like you" she giggled and closed the half broken door that the werewolf had flown into.

Viktor sneaked closer to the mansion but then heard a horse carriage far away and knew what that meant. "The vampire lords are having a meeting today... We aren't ready..." he turned into a massive wolf and ran off into the distance.

Viktor saw a werewolf camp and noticed it was empty. "What has happened there?" he wondered while running closer. He noticed the werewolves were dead with bullets in them. "They didn't stand a chance..." he thought and began digging a giant hole with his paws. The hole was big in no time and he threw the dead werewolves that were slowly turning into dead humans down into it and filled it. He stomped it flat. "I need to get going before anyone sees me" he ran off again towards his main camp.

"Unfortunately..." Hikaru smiled a little when Kelly said she liked to go out for a little snack occassionally. "I have noticed. Just be careful not to get caught, though I doubt you will." He nodded to her question if he was going with her. "Everything is already taken care of around here for now." He turned his head back over to the window and adjusted his hat. "Looks like the carrage has arrived. Shall we go m'lady?" He asked as he turned his head back towards her.

Amelia walked over and took the document from him with a nod. "Of course sir." She slightly bowed to him, then turned and left the room. She walked out and had the request sent off to the president before heading up to her room to get ready. As she was getting dressed, she could see the carriage arriving out her window. She quickly finished and walked out of the room, heading back towards her master's office. She walked into the room and folded her hands neatly in front of her. "The carriage has arrived sir."

Sebastian chuckled a little as he listened to Cassandra rant about Kelly and Dimitri. "It's probably because Dimitri thinks he can handle anything himself and Kelly merely follows him like a dog. From what I hear, the werewolf camps increase in numbers daily. If something isn't done about this soon, we may have an army to deal with and I doubt even Dimitri can take on that many at once." He smiled a little. "I'm glad you consider me strong enough to protect you. I try not to disappoint," he said with a smirk. He looked out the window for a moment, then looked at Cassandra and held out his hand as he looked at her. "Shall I escort you down to the carriage m'lady?"

James sighed as he put his cigarette out. He put his hands behind his head and leaned up against the tree, closing his eyes. "Christie, don't you have anything better to do than bother me?" He asked with another sigh, starting to get annoyed of his sister.

Christie looked at her brother with a confused expression. "I can't want to spend time with my brother?" She asked, closing her eyes and smiled. She turned her head when she saw Viktor heading back towards the camp and stood up, waving to him. She dropped her arm back to her side and looked over at her brother. "You should get up and sat hello as well. And aren't you supposed to be on lookout? Quit lazing around," she said and kicked her brother playfully with a giggle.

Wilson cheered and watched as a few vampires living close to the mansion began showing up. Dimitri watched as well and stood up. He approached them and shook hands. "Glad you could come" he repeated over and over again until the stream of vampires began to die down. "Only the other vampire lords are left to show up now" he said and waved Sophie over. Sophie approached Dimitri. "Yes?" she asked nicely. Dimitri pulled out a chair beside him for her to sit on. "We usually sit in mansions, so Marc and his company sits there, Kelly sits here with her company and Cassandra sits there with her company" he said and pointed at the different sides of the table. "So you sit beside me" Sophie obeyed and sat down.

Marc let go of the paper. "Excellent" he replied and looked through some other documents. The time seemed to vanish completely to him util he was interrupted by Amelia again. "Oh, it has? Great, Let's go" he stood up followed Amelia to the carriage. He opened the carriage door for her and waited for her to enter.

Kelly nodded. "Indeed and Dimitri has granted me a few liberties as well" she giggled. She heard Hikaru say that the carriage had arrived and asked if they should go. She nodded. "Yes, let's go" she began walking towards the front door to exit the mansion.

Cassandra laughed taunting. "Dimitri is nothing but a weak old man. The years have grown on him. He probably could not even beat down a werewolf if he didn't have guns and silver bullets!" she mocked and took Sebastian's hand. "Certainly, let's go. And you could kick his ass for sure" she giggled and hung a bit on Sebastian as they headed for the carriage.

Viktor was at the camp in no time and turned to his human form. He nodded at Christie instead of waving. "James, why are you not on a lookout? I've passed an empty camp. You should always be on a lookout! We can't afford losing more memb-" he was interrupted by another werewolf who had witnessed the massacre. "I saw it all... They were just two vampires... Dimitri and his butler.. Wilson, right?" it caught its breath. "I was lucky to get out alive" it fell to the ground exhausted, bleeding from the neck. Viktor noticed and checked what it was. "It's a silver bullet. He's dead" he opened the wound for them to see and felt its pulse. "Completely dead..." he sighed.

Amelia nodded and followed her master down to the carriage. She smiled a little when he opened the door for her and stepped up onto the carriage, sitting down across from where he would sit. She folded her hands neatly in her lap, crossing one leg behind the other. "If I may ask, what are these meetings normally like?" She asked when he sat down as they started towards Dimitri's mansion.

"That's good to hear," Hikaru said as he led her downstairs and towards the front door. "Hopefully you'll get some more privilages here soon. You deserve it more than some of those other lords..." He walked over to the carriage and opened the door, taking her hand and helping her inside. He stepped onto the carriage, closing the door behind him and sitting down across from her. He moved his hat forward a little as he leaned back and crossed his legs. "Hopefully there wont be any arguments this time. I don't think I can keep my mouth shut if they disrespect you again," he said as he crossed his arms.

Sebastian smirked and chuckled a little. "You know what they say m'lady. You can't teach an old dog new tricks. He relies too much on that weapon of his and it'll end up being the death of him one day." He looked at her and smiled when she took his hand and headed down towards the front. He laughed a little to her comment, not really reacting to her hanging off of him. He was pretty used to it by now, to a point of course. He still got embarassed occassionally depending on what she did and where they were. "It would be nice to knock some sense into that thick skull of his." He opened the door and led her over to the carriage, helping her inside first before getting in himself. He sat down next to her and leaned back, closing his eyes. "But it's not like he would play fair. He'd probably have Wilson help him like always. He's not even man enough to take someone on alone."

James jumped up and rubbed his head and listened to Viktor with his head down as he got scolded for slacking off again. He looked up when he saw another werewolf walking over and was a little surprised when he said it was only two vampires that had taken out a whole camp. He slid his hands into his pockets as he watched Viktor go and feel a pulse from their fallen comrad. "Now I see how two were able to take out so many that easily. They rely on silver bullets. If we could manage to get their weapons away from them, we might be able to take them out easily," he stated as he looked at Viktor.

Christie smiled when Viktor nodded to her, holding her hands behind her back. She let out a soft giggle as her brother was getting lectured. Her eyes widened when she saw the injured wolf amd covered her mouth when he collasped dead. She looked away and closed her eyes. "They didn't deserve to be massacered..." She dropped her hand to her side as she looked over at her brother, then at Viktor to see what he would say.

Marc closed the door and sat down as well as they started heading for the mansion. He heard Amelia's question. "Well, that depends on the topics and demands made, but overall it goes fairly smoothly, however with some disagreements" he smiled and looked outside for a moment. "I hope that answers your question" he smiled again. Marc then looked at Amelia again. "If the discussion gets heated up though, don't fear if the mood goes eerie, nothing is gonna happen"

Kelly entered the carriage and sat down. "Yeah, but nonetheless, no one should fight at the meetings, despite the heated discussions" she sighed and gave Hikaru a little sweet glare, not knowing if he'd notice. "However, they were rough last week..." she sighed again and moved seat. She sat down beside Hikaru.

Cassandra giggled and nodded. "He for sure is a dog indeed" she laughed out loud. She calmed down the laughter and said in a calm voice. "Yes, what if he runs out of bullets, then what will he do" she chuckled mockingly and put her head on Sebastian's shoulder. "You're amazingly warm for a vampire" she giggled sweetly.

Viktor got silent for a moment. "Hmm... You're right but using bullets is new..." Viktor sighed and examined the werewolf's wound again. "It seems..." he thought back at the last time he saw Dimitri fight with Wilson by his side. Wilson just stood there and watched and Dimitri... The images disgusted him. "Be careful! Both of you!" Viktor said and headed towards his tent.

Dimitri, Wilson and Sophie kept sitting and small talking until a vampire came inside the room and whispered into Dimitri's ear. "There's a small gang of werewolves blocking the road for the other lords to arrive" the vampire whispered. The vampire left immediately after waving for Dimitri to follow. Dimitri stood up and headed for the door but stopped halfway and turned to Sophie and Wilson. "I'll be back in a moment" he said and headed outside.

Sophie nodded and Wilson was about to protest but Dimitri had almost left. "Sir, don't you need company?" Wilson asked with a wish to come along. "Not necessarily, but you can come along" he nodded and then looked towards Sophie. "She stays here though, it may be dangerous" he said as Wilson and Dimitri left.

Wilson and Dimitri exited the mansion and followed the direction the vampire had pointed in. "So theyy're blocking the way to Kelly's mansion... Let's go" Dimitri said and they both headed down the road till they saw the little pack on the road. Dimitri pulled out his gun and aimed at one of the werewolves. He shot it and the other werewolves launched an attack. Dimitri shot another werewolf and another one till he ran out of bullets. "Shit..." Dimitri said as the gun said click as he aimed at the last werewolf. He nodded at Wilson and they both approached the werewolf.

The werewolf attacked but was put down and killed and Dimitri and Wilson moved the werewolves to the side of the road and left the scene with.

They arrived back at the mansion and sat down right away, but didn't notice the Wilson's bloody footprints from the werewolf's now flat head. Sophie didn't notice.

Amelia watched as Marc sat down and listened to his response to her question. "I see." She turned her head and looked out the window as well, then looked back at him and nodded. She was a little confused when he said for her not to fear if the mood gets eerie. "Opinions are bound to clash during something like this, I would assume." She turned her head back towards the mansion as it came into sight in the distance.

Hikaru sighed and nodded, not noticing Kelly's glare as he turned his head towards the window. "I'll do my best to keep my temper at bay miss." He turned his head towards her when she came over and sat next to him. "I'm surprised no fight have broken out with how some of those arguments go." He leaned his head back, kind of looking up a little as he uncrossed his legs, catching the scent of blood a few miles up the road. 'Looks like a few less werewolves to worry about. Disgusting creatures,' He thought, kind of spacing out, but was still listening to her.

Sebastian smirked as he looked at Cassandra. "Panic probably. Sure, he might be able to handle one or two, but not without his lacky helping him." He chuckled as well, but kind of blushed a little when she laid her head on his shoulder and complimented him. He covered his mouth with one hand and cleared his throat, turning his head towards the window as he dropped his hand back to his side. 'I hate it when she does that...'

"Yeah..." James sighed and rubbed his head. He nodded as Viktor told them to be careful and watched as he left, crossing his arms and leaning back. He began to think to himself for a moment out loud. "If we could use something as a ransom to keep them from killing our comrads, we might gain the advantage. Maybe the people closest to some of those lords..."

Christie nodded, holding her hands behind her back. She looked over at her brother curiously. "Like who? Their maids and butlers? I would think they'd be pretty strong, or at least a challenge. I don't think any of them would really care if they lost their servants though."

James turned his head towards his sister, then adjusted his goggles and shrugged. "I know there are two maids and one butler that's blind, but as far as strength, I couldn't say. Not like I've seen them fight. The other two butlers I would assume would be more of a challenge than those three though. The blind guy would be at a disadvantage, and I think the one maid working for Dimitri is still a young vampire so she shouldn't be a problem." He smirked, pulling out a cigarette and lighting it. "If it doesn't work, we could always kill them. It wouldn't hurt to try. It's getting them when they're alone is the problem and finding their weakness." He exhaled smoke as he closed his eyes. "But I doubt Viktor will go for it. It might be a last resort kind of plan for when we're desperate."

Ellie sat there paitiently as she waited for the rest of the lords to arrive. She crossed her arms and legs and watched as someone walked over to Dimitri and whispered something to him. She watched curiously as he and his butler left. 'Wonder where they're off to in such a hurry.' She smirked a little as she started listening to a few of the conversations going on around her. After a while, she noticed that the two had returned and could smell the blood that Wilson was tracking in and smirked again. 'Bring fresh smelling blood into a room full of vampires. Not the smartest idea,' She thought and chuckled a little.

Marc nodded at her statement. "Yes, indeed they are, but he's like deliberately against all of my suggestions so i doubt he just disagrees!" Marc growled silently in anger. Marc too began to notice the mansion in the distance. "He even has a much bigger mansion...!" he thought to himself as he looked at it but suddenly remembered that he ad brought a bottle of blood and pulled it out of his big pocket. "Want a sip?" he asked and opened it with a click.

Kelly nodded. "Yeah, it gets pretty insane at times" she chuckled a little, but soon noticing the smell. "That smells horrible!" she exclaimed loudly and covered her nose while looking around for the cause. She noticed about 10 dead werewolves by the side of the road and signaled for the driver to stop. She stepped out and examined a few of them, eventually coming to one with a flat head and blood all over. "Hikaru, there has been a severe battle here.. This one's head is bashed in" she chuckled as if it was fun how the werewolves had been murdered.

Cassandra kept resting her head on his shoulder. "You don't mind me resting on you a bit, do you?" she asked in a seductive voice and closed her eyes. "When are we there even? It appears to take forever" she whined and put her arm around him. "These meetings are just so long and everyone seems to get upset" she continued to complain, as she always did. It surprised her that Sebastian just tolerated her rant.

Viktor turned around just in the right moment to hear what James had suggested and nodded in agreement. "That's a last resort plan, that's right. However, if I one day happen to be killed, that's the kind of strategies we need for the race to survive..." he complimented James and turned around again and walked away but stopped and turned around again. "One last thing before I take my leave... If you see black swarms of anything at all... You run, is that clear?" he said quickly and left for his tent in an instant before he could get a response.

Viktor sat down in his tent. "Did I reveal too much..." he worried and thought back at the last encounter he had with them. "So much.. black death..." he could still hear the sound of black locusts around every corner. He could still hear them, but that was of course his imagination, or his concern. His mind created black swarms of whatever he had ever seen nearly constantly, he knew what to fear and what not to fear.

Sophie asked curiously. "What was the matter?" she took a sip of the glass and first noticed the bloody footprints now. "What's that?" she whispered.

Dimitri whispered. "Werewolves. They are taken care of now" he replied in the low voice and took a sip. Wilson didn't say much, but nodded in agreement and took a sip as well. "They should be here soon, they take long today" Dimitri stated with relief. "It's always a good thing when they're late. Then the disagreements are put off at least for a bit" he sighed and finished his glass.

Wilson nodded again. "That's true" he chuckled a little. "Otherwise we have our skeletons in the coffins if everything becomes chaos" Wilson chuckled again, but was pushed in the side by Dimitri. Dimitri shook his head. "It's just a way of speech" he laughed protective to Sophie, who just nodded without thinking. She was thinking about how her first meeting would be.

Danielle woke up again and got ready to meet at work. She took a quick shower and got dressed. She finished her hair and makeup and opened a drawer. She pulled out her gun belt, ammunition and her guns. She put it on and approached her car.

Amelia looked at her master curiously when he started to get angry about his ideas getting shot down. She looked out the window when he said something about Dimitri's mansion being bigger. "I think he's just compensating for something," she said aloud, but more to herself. It was rare for her to make jokes, much less kind of perverted ones. She looked at him and smiled a little with a nod. "Yes, thank you," she said when he offered her a sip.

Hikaru nodded in agreement and looked at her when she told the carriage to stop. He stepped out after her and covered his nose with his sleeve, the smell bothering him. "Looks like Dimitri had some fun earlier. We just missed the party," he commented and dropped his arm to his side. "We're already late m'lady. We shouldn't stay long," he said as he motioned for her to follow him back into the carriage.

"When do I ever?" Sebastian looked at her and smiled. "So eager to get it over with as always. We should be there soon," he said with a chuckle and looked out the window. "Most of that tension come from Marc and Dimitri during their 'disagreements' on how things should be done." He sighed, putting his hand on his head as he leaned back and closed his eyes. "It would be nice for just one meeting to go smoothly."

James took a puff off his cigarette as he looked over at Viktor and smiled a little to his compliment. His smile faded quickly to the warning they were given and nodded. 'Black swarm?' He exhaled the smoke with a sigh and rubbed his head. "I wonder what's so bad about some black swarm?" He looked at his sister and tilted his head to the left for a second. "I'm gonna go on a quick patrol of the area. Do me a favor and keep watch." When he got his answer, he turned and left.

Christie was a little confused as she listened to Viktor, but kept her mouth shut. She looked over at her brother and shrugged her shoulders to his question. "Don't know, but we better do what he says." She closed her eyes and smiled. "Sure. I'll do my best," she said and playfully saluted, then watched as he left. 'Just don't do anything stupid James...'

Ellie listened to their conversation, but pretended to be interested in something else. She glanced over at the three of them for a moment, then smirked. She looked over at the clock, then towards the door. 'Do we really have to sit and wait for people who decided to be fashionably late to this supposid 'important' meeting?'

Raiden started writing a ticket, clearly starting to get more and more annoyed by the second at Zander to a point that his hand started shaking and he was clenching his teeth to keep his mouth shut. 'I'm going to shoot this fucking kid!' He ripped the paper off and handed it to the man, waving for him to go ahead and leave. He walked back over to his car and got in, smacking Zander behind the head.

Zander was messing around with things in the car as he waited for Raiden to get back. "Heeeeyy! I'm bored! Hurry it up!" He smiled and leaned back when he saw Raiden walking back to the car. He glared at him when he was smacked and rubbed his head. "What the hell was that for!?"

Raiden shifted into drive and pulled away from the curb and headed back towards the police station. "For being an idiot. I swear, you could at least try to act mature." He breathed a sigh. "And you'll have to sit in the back whenever my partner is on shift, got it? And no complaints or I'll handcuff you to the door." He then began to wonder what his new partner was like. 'I hope he isn't as annoying as this guy,' he thought, but wasn't even really sure if his partner was a guy or not.

Marc couldn't help but laugh. "I think you're right!" he nearly fell off the carriage but eventually calmed down. "Sorry" he dusted off his coat and handed Amelia the bottle and a glass. "It's the only glass I had pocket for" he smiled and in meanwhile turned to the driver. "Could you slow down a bit? We are having a drink back here" he said as the driver nodded.

Kelly giggled. "It seems so, yes" she replied and saw Hikaru signal for them to get back in. "You're right about that too" she said and walked back up into the carriage and sat down. She watched as Hikaru entered and close the carriage. "Do you have any suggestions for today's topics?" she asked.

Cassandra rested kept resting her head while listening. "Yeah, but Marc has some good points.. Unlike Dimitri. At least Marc has an army in case hell breaks loose!" She ranted a bit but calmed down again. "Yes, indeed it would. If just Dimitri wouldn't keep disagreeing, and Kelly agreeing with him, everything would be easy..." she sighed and turned her head so her face was on Sebastian's neck.

Viktor was in meanwhile still in his tent, lying on his fur bed. He turned back to normal and decided to take a walk in the city for new recruits. He left the tent and saluted Christie as he moved on. "I'm taking a walk in the city, wanna come?" he asked and awaited her response.

Danielle entered her car and started the car. She started driving towards the police station. She watched a few students going to school with their backpacks on, a cyclist and a few other pedestrians. She pulled in on the police station's parking lot and adjusted the mirror to make sure she looked well.

Dimitri looked around, observing a few low ranked vampire counts discuss with one another about the meeting. He observed some toddlers, as he would describe them, make fun. Wilson looked straight ahead without a movement. "They should be arriving soon" Wilson stated silently. Dimitri nodded slowly. "I think they will" he assured himself and Wilson.

Sophie leaned back and looked up at the ceiling. She waited impatiently. "They sure take long" she stated with a slight sigh and continued to look at the ceiling. She looked at a big painting of the meeting in the ceiling. "Decorative" she thought and looked more closely.

Amelia watched as Marc was laughing to a point that he almost fell. She smiled a little and took the bottle and glass from him and poured it, filling it about halfway. "Then, you should have the first drink sir," she stated as she held the glass out to him.

Hikaru watched as Kelly got back onto the carriage and stepped up, closing the door behind him. He sat down and crossed his legs, turning his head towards her. "None in particular," he stated and smiled at her. "What sort of topics were you planning to bring up m'lady?" He asked curiously, crossing his arms.

Sebastian nodded in agreement to Cassandra's response. "He does. Too bad Dimitri doesn't just try to comprimise with some of the decisions instead of always shooting them down." He chuckled a little. "Kelly is merely a follower. She doesn't even deserve to be a lord in my opinion. She doesn't think for herself anyways." He looked at her as she burried her face into his neck and smiled a little. He looked up at the driver as the carriage stopped, then back down at Cassandra. "We're here. We better head inside and get this over with."

Christie looked around, kind of pacing from boredom. She looked over at Viktor when he came out of his tent and smiled. Her eyes lit up a little when he asked if she wanted to come with him and nodded. "I'd love to!" She jogged over to him, stopping next to him and holding her hands behind her back.

Raiden pulled into the police station and turned the car off. He got out without a word, but slammed the door. 'I can't wait til my fucking shift is over so I can go home and get away from this kid!' He waited for Zander to get out, then went to walk into the police station, but stopped when he noticed Zander wasn't following him and looked over to where the kid was.

Zander got out of the car and closed the door. He looked over at another car that had a girl sitting in it and smirked, walking over to her. He rested his arm on the top of her car and leaned over so he was eye level with her. "Hey there. I love a woman in uniform. What do you say we get to know eachother better?" He asked, majorly flirting with her.

Raiden looked even more annoyed, if it was even possible. He walked over, grabbing Zander by the back of his collar and pulling him away from Danielle. "Keep it up and I'll handcuff you to the bumper of my car and take you for a drive on the highway lover boy." He looked at Danielle. "Sorry about that. It's his first day."

Ellie sighed, starting to grow impaitient. 'Maybe I should just leave while I have the chance?' She looked back at the clock for a second, then closed her eyes and crossed her legs, slouching in her chair.

Marc took the glass. "If you insist" he said and took a sip. "Wouldn't you like a sip as well?" he asked and as he took another sip and handed it back to Amelia. "You can have the rest, since we're almost there. I've had plenty today" he smiled as he waited for her to take the glass.

Kelly thought for a moment, looking for a few topics in her head but didn't seem to be able to come up with something. "I haven't had any spectacular encounters with werewolves nor any other problems, so none I can say right now" she smiled and looked up as they were getting closer.

Cassandra complained silently as she looked up as well. "That much for being comfy..." she thought and sighed as she reluctantly stood up. She took Sebastian's hand and was escorted towards the entrance.

Viktor slightly smiled. "Wonderful, it's almost day so we should soon be safe from vampire attacks as well" he chuckled assuring as they walked. "You seem to be close to James, is he great leader material?" Viktor then asked as he jumped onto a tree and sat on a branch.

Danielle watched as Zander approached her and scanned him. "Is he a cop? He doesn't look like one" she thought with a giggle. She watched him as he attempted to flirt. "He doesn't act like one either" she thought with another giggle, but before she could answer his flirt, Raiden had pulled him away, telling her it was his first day. "I guess every new recruit can't take it seriously te first day" she chuckled as she waved at Raiden. "Good morning, are you his partner then?" she giggled with sympathy in her voice.

Wilson heard a few horses make noise outside and thought it could be one of the other vampire lords. He went to check through a window and saw Cassandra and Sebastian. He returned to the meeting room to tell Dimitri.

"Cassandra has arrived. Two to go" he said and sat down beside Dimitri. They had a little chat about the expectations about today's meeting, while Sophie had noticed Ellie sitting alone.

Sophie told Dimitri she was gonna be back in a few and went and sat down beside Ellie. "Hello, I'm Sophie. Dimitri's Maid" she smiled with her eyes closed.

Amelia nodded and took the glass from Marc when he handed it to her and took a sip. She finished it off just as the carriage arrived at the mansion and set down the glass as she stood up. She noticed another carriage arriving as she stepped out. 'Seems like we werent the only ones late,' She thought as she began walking with Marc into the mansion.

Hikaru nodded in agreement. "It's a good thing we havn't had any problems with them, but I can handle a few werewolves either way." He smirked. "Besides, I doubt Dimitri would let them anywhere near you if he can help it." He turned his head to the door when he noticed the carriage stop and stood up. He stepped out, holding out his hand to help her off and caught Marc and Amelia's scent, turning his head in their direction.

Sebastian smiled as he helped Cassandra off the carriage and held her hand as well as he escorted her inside. He let her into the meeting room and went and led her over to a chair, then sat down next to her and crossed his legs as he looked around the room at everyone for a moment. 'What a lively bunch.'

Ellie turned her head and looked at Sophie when she sat down next to her. "Ellie. Nice to meet you." She examined Sophie for a moment. 'A bit young, isn't she?' She thought, knowing Sophie hadn't been a vampire long, compared to some of the others at least. She crossed her arms and looked over at Cassandra and Sebastian when they walked in. 'Finally!'

Christie nodded. "It'll be nice not to have to worry about them," she said as she started following Viktor. She looked up at him when he jumped into a tree and nodded to his question. "Yeah, but he's been like that since we were kids. He was never the type to follow orders. I'm surprised he listens to you to be honest." She giggled a little. "He was always smart for his age and he's always been able to plan out strategies or interpret what people will do next within a matter of seconds."

Raiden nodded and chuckled a little to Danielle's comment. "Guess not." He shook his head. "No, thank god. I only have to deal with him for two months, then he'll be assigned to someone. I'm actually supposed to meet my new partner here..." He stopped as he looked at his watched on his wrist. It was a habbit he gained from his father who had been in the military. "...Right now actually. They're probably waiting for me." He looked at Zander and smacked him in the back of the head for his comment. "Shut up and get inside," he said as he pushed Zander towards the entrance, then looked at Danielle. "If you'll excuse me," he said and turned to leave.

Zander glared up at Raiden, then crossed his arms and pouted. "At least I'm not some uptight asshole...OW!" He rubbed his head when Raiden smacked him and flipped him off when he was saying goodbye to Danielle. He slid his hands into his pockets and began walking towards the entrance as well.

Marc entered the mansion with Amelia. He led her through the mansion to the meeting room and entered. He pulled out a chair for Amelia and pushed it closer to the table as she had sat down. He then took the chair beside her and sat down as well. He greeted Cassandra.

Kelly agreed. "I don't doubt that" she giggled and turned her head as well. "Oh, Marc and his maid" she said cold. "I hate that guy!" she said silently as Marc had already entered and couldn't hear her. "Shall we go in as well?" she took his hand and was led into the mansion. She looked at a few paintings on the walls. "What's that?" she exclaimed at a painting of a meeting on a courtyard. The vampires on it were, not deformed, but they had more bat like features than today's vampires. They looked a bit scary. "Wait! Isn't that Dimitri?!?" she suddenly said aloud as she noticed him in the crowd. "And.. WIlson?" she was confused. "But that must be.. very old..." she thought, dizzy of the many thoughts.

Cassandra was led into the meeting room before Marc entered. She sat down with Sebastian beside her. She looked around the crowd, observing. She greeted Marc as he entered. "Doesn't he just get on your nerves they way he sits there?" she asked Sebastian in a whisper, thinking Dimitri wouldn't hear it.

Sophie smiled. "I like your name" she giggled and looked around to see what she looked at. "Is this your first meeting as well?" she then asked curiously.

Dimitri observed the crowd. "What's taking them so long to get inside" she complained, but was interrupted in his complaining as Cassandra entered. "Glad you could come" he said in a sarcastic tone, that Cassandra ignored. Wilson didn't react to her coming in. "Finally" he said and heard the doors swing on the lower floor. "here are more coming" he exclaimed impatiently.

Dimitri nodded as he had heard it as well. "sounds like it" he said and a few minutes after he watched as Marc entered. He didn't greet him, but sent a smile to Amelia. "Marc has brought his maid it seems" he said and suddenly heard the doors again. "And this must be Kelly arriving" he said with a satisfied look. Dimitri heard Cassandra whisper but decided to ignore it and go and meet Kelly on the hallway. "I'll be right back. I go meet Kelly on the way" he said and nodded at Wilson. Wilson nodded back and observed the crowd even further.

Dimitri was a hallway away from Kelly and Hikaru when he heard Kelly talk about the painting. He waited for her to finish her dizzying questions to herself and then stepped out on the hallway they were on.

Viktor chuckled at her response. "That's a part of becoming a werewolf" he smiled at her. "We somehow do as the ones above us tell us to. The wolf instinct, however it has never really worked on me, as you can see" he chuckled again. "Some become dominant while others become semi dominant unless they are the strongest ones and they become dominant, but with the rapid killings of the eldest of our kinds, we're only a few old left, and your brother and you are one of the oldest still alive, except for me" Viktor admitted. "I'm not as strong as I seem" he sighed. "I see shadows everywhere, reminding me of my cowardly past... I ran when the wars were at their highest... But I have become stronger since then..." he suddenly realized his words and jumped off the branch. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to rant, let's go to the city" he tried to forget what he had just admitted. Why was he admitting it? he thought so himself.

Danielle saluted him and locked her car. "Wait, actually I have to meet my new partner here too" she smiled and followed Raiden close behind. "Or perhaps that's just a coincidence" she giggled and went to the counter as she had entered. She looked at some papers with lists of partnerships. "Hmm... Where's the updated one..." she went to another stock of papers and began searching through them.

Amelia thanked Marc when he pulled her chair out for her and sat down. She looked over at Dimitri and smiled a little back at him, not wanting to be rude. She looked around the room at everyone, not sure what to think and wondered how this meeting would go.

"Hate is a strong word m'lady," Hikaru stated, then looked down at her and nodded. He took her hand and led her inside, but stopped when she pointed out a painting. He waited for her, but was a little surprised when she said that one looked like Dimitri. "Well, he is one of the oldest vampires. I wouldn't find it unusual." He looked up towards the painting, though he couldn't see it himself. "It seems he and Wilson have been together a long time." He turned his head when he heard footsteps, realizing it was Dimitri from his scent, but didn't sau anything.

Sebastian chuckled a little to Cassandra's comment, but didn't say anything. He watched as Dimitri left the room, then looked at Cassandra. "Looks like he's going to greet Kelly, like always," he whispered with a slight annoyance and sighed. He rubbed his head, closing his eyes. "Why not delay this thing even longer?" He asked sarcastically.

"Thanks..." Ellie looked at Sophie and nodded. "Yeah. Usually I just skip out, but I was bored and had nothing better to do anyways." She smirked, then watched as Dimitri left. "Where's your master running off to?" She asked curiously with a sigh, hoping that coming here would end up being worth it.

Christie nodded in agreement and smiled as she listened to him. Her smiled faded when he said that they were some of the oldest left and looked down. She looked back up at him and continued to remain quiet as she listened to him. She watched Viktor jump down and shook her head to his apology with a smile. "It's ok. Everyone needs to get things off their chest every once in a while. Besides, just because you ran away doesn't make you a coward. At least, to me it doesn't. Sometimes knowing your limits is a good thing." She closed her eyes and smiled sweetly at him. "And I wouldn't have gotten to meet you if you had died in the war with everyone else. I think you're a great leader. You really should have more confidance in yourself," she said as she began following him.

Raiden turned and looked at Danielle, waiting for her to catch up. "Probably is a coincidence." He made Zander sit down in a nearby chair and walked over to the counter as well and grabbed one of the lists. He walked over and sat down next to Zander as he began searching through the list.

Zander leaned over and was reading the list as well. "Hey Raiden, looks like your new partner's a chick," he said with a smirk and pointed it out on the list. "Lucky bastard. Well, at least I get to spend time with her as well." He chuckled.

Raiden didn't even looked at Zander as he hit him in the back of the head and ignored his painful complaing. "The only lucky thing is that she'll probably report you for sexual harrassment and I wont have to deal with you anymore." He continued reading some of the information on her, wanting to get a better idea of who she was. "Or at least she might agree to help me lock you in the trunk so we don't have to listen to your stupidity." He then realized something as he read her name again, then glanced up at Danielle. "Guess it wasn't a coincidence."

Zander rubbed his head and glared at Raiden. "And you call yourself a cop!? How did you manage to stay on the force for so long when you keep threatening me?!" He crossed his arms and pouted, then looked up at Danielle when Raiden made a comment to her and smirked. "Man, you really are a lucky bastard."

Sophie looked back as Ellie had asked her where Dimitri had went. "Uhh, I don't know, but I should probably go back to sit, the meeting could start anytime now I think" she said with a smile and stood up. She reached our her hand. "Nice to meet you Ellie" she smiled with closed eyes.

Marc looked at the table. He saw that the only blood on the table was where Dimitri, Wilson and Sophie should sit. "You're not gonna pour up a glass for the guests, you useless butler?!" he growled at Wilson with an aggressive look. Wilson ignored it. "I'm only at service when Dimitri demands something or when I sincerely wish to service from my own will" Wilson replied with a cold voice.

Cassandra agreed with Sebastian. "It certainly seems so, and of course why not delay it as you say" she stated sarcastically. She was amused as Marc had begun a war at words with Wilson and decided to join in. "Actually, Marc has a point. Why don't you?" she smiled sinister. Wilson shrugged it off with an annoyed look. "Don't take too many liberties now, you may be vampire lords as well, but there's a clear rank order" Wilson said with an even more annoyed voice.

Kelly hadn't noticed that Dimitri had stepped out on the hallway until he spoke. "I see you fell upon he painting" he chuckled as he approached them. "There's actually a very funny story behind it. You see these..." he said and moved his finger over the bat like creatures. "These are in fact the original primitive vampires, however their strength is not to under estimate" he chuckled again. He took Kelly's hand. "But if you would like it, I could tell you more about them at a later time. But now we should all attend the meeting, since they are becoming increasingly impatient in there" he pulled her along gently. She followed. "Come Hikaru, let's go" she smiled and let go of Dimitri's hand and watched him enter the room again. She followed pursuit with Hikaru by her side.

Danielle was too busy looking at the lists. "Do you have the updated one over th-" she heard Raiden say it wasn't a coincidence after all. "Oh, so we're partners then? I'll look forward to that" she chuckled and put down the paper in her hand and walked towards them. She looked at Zander. "And this is apparently the recruit we have to drag around then?" she scanned Zander again. "This is gonna be a pain" she thought to herself.

Viktor felt flattered and smiled at her words. "That's true, that sure would have been kind of hard" he chuckled with a little self irony, but suddenly his mood dropped. He thought he saw shadows everywhere once more. "Do you see shadows too?" he whispered silently and walked slow. "it feels like we're being watched..." he look around and smelled but nothing was in the air. Suddenly the feeling disappeared and he reassured himself nothing was there once more with a sniff. "Sorry, it was just me it seems. I occasionally get a few hallucinations I think" he sighed with relief.

Ellie nodded and looked back at Sophie. She nodded again, taking her hand and shaking it. "Nice to meet you too Sophie." She smiled a little, then watched as Sophie walked back to her seat. She looked over and noticed Dimitri coming back in with Kelly and her butler. 'Blind vampire?' She thought as she looked at Hikaru curiously. How interesting...at least this thing is going to start finally.'

Amelia listened in silence as Marc attempted to demand a drink from Wilson, but decided to stay quiet, thinking it wasn't her place to interefere. She looked over at Cassandra as she joined in to the conversation. She held in a giggle to Wilson's stubborness, but she knew he had a point. But she kept that opinion to herself. A butler or maid was only supposed to listen to their master after all.

Sebastian chuckled to Wilson's responses. "Rank shouldn't matter. It's merely polite to be a good host," he commented and crossed his arms with a smirk. "But I guess manners aren't important anymore." He chuckled again, then looked over at the door when Dimitri walked in with the others. 'Finally!'

Hikaru listened in silence to their conversation. He looked over towards Kelly and nodded when she asked him to come along and nodded, walking close beside her. He walked over to a chair and pulled it out for her to sit, then sat down next to her, remaining silent as he listened to some of the conversations going on around him.

James wasn't far from Dimitri's mansion, waiting for the right time to move closer. 'Viktor isn't gonna like this if he finds out I came to spy on them without permission, but if I can at least find out their next move...' He jumped down from the tree he was in and slowly approached the mansion now that the sun was beginning to rise. 'If I stay outside and in the sunlight, I should be safe and able to get away quickly if I get caught. The question is, how am I gonna get close enough to listen in from the outside. I really don't know if I should risk going into the mansion. I wont be able to get away as easily if I'm caught.' He sighed quietly as he walked a little closer, staying in his human form. He knew they'd notice right away if he was in his werewolf form. He scanned the area with his eyes, figuring the best escape route as he got closer. 'The windows are tinted to keep the sunlight from getting in, but I wonder if their shatter proof as well? If I go in, jumping through a window may be my quickest escape, but I need a back up plan if they don't break. And I don't know what kind of security this guy has.' He tossed his cigarette down as he got up to the doors and continued to scan the area. 'If I'm lucky, they wont notice my scent, but I'll still have to get close to be able to here anything...' He examined the door carefully, figuring that they might here it open if he attempted to go through it. He decided against it and began walking the perimiter to see if there was a quieter point of entry.

Raiden sighed and stood up. He walked over and put the stack back on the counter, then walked back over to the other two. "Looks like we are. Sorry you got stuck with this brat as well. I wouldn't wish that on anyone." He chuckled to Zander's response, then looked at Danielle, holding out his hand. "Raiden Hayate. I'll look forward to working with you as well."

Zander jumped up and smiled at Danielle. He glared at Raiden for his comment. "I have a name you know so quit calling me brat. It's Zander. Not rookie. Not pest. Zander." He crossed his arms and kind of pouted. He watched as Raiden and Danielle introduced themselves and shook hands. "So, what do we do now?" He asked curiously, not really wanting to stand around and do nothing.

Christie nodded in agreement and smiled, but her smile faded when she saw the look on his face. She looked around and shook her head. "I don't see anything..." She turned her head to him with a worried look. She reached over and placed her hand on his shoulder and smiled gently. "It's ok. I'm not that strong, but I'll keep those mean old shadows away from you!" She was more trying to make him feel better than anything and giggled a little. "If you see them again, I'll fight them off!" She continued, hoping her stupid humor would make him laugh and pretended to throw a few punches playfully.

Sophie sat down beside Wilson as Dimitri entered.

Dimitri sat down and closed the door when Kelly and Hikaru had sat down. he then sat down as well. "Now, let's start, but first" he started and looked around the crowd as everyone began to shut up. he waited a few seconds till everyone was quiet. "Great. What was this discussion I heard before I came in? Care to explain, Marc?" Dimitri looked sternly at Marc. Marc stood up with an angry look. "because your shitty butler is too fine to server a simple drink to the guests!" Marc began ranting but was calmed down by Dimitri forcefully. "Shut up and speak in a proper tone! You think it helps your case?!" Dimitri stood up angrily, standing taller than Marc, resulting in Marc sitting back down. "Good, now let's start this meeting properly, shall we?" Dimitri sat down once more and pulled out a paper and a pencil. "Alright, first topic? Anyone?" he asked aloud. Marc was about to stand up when Dimitri glared at him. Marc stopped and sat down. "My monthly blood supply has decreased" Marc complained in a proper tone. Dimitri wrote it down and then looked up again. "Anymore topics? We-" he was interrupted by Cassandra, standing up slightly. "I was attacked by a werewolf tonight" she complained. Dimitri hissed at her silently, but loud enough for her to hear. She sat down and watched him write it down. "Good he at least wrote it down" she thought.

Marc thought of his army. "I have the soldiers to fix that" he said and waited for Dimitri to take initiative to gather an army as well. "I want the information about your army's current stats by letter before tomorrow night then" Dimitri replied and wrote down. "Info about Marc's army by letter" he thought as he wrote it down. "Anything else?" Dimitri looked questioning at Kelly as the only other vampire lord who hadn't made demands. Kelly shook her head and turned her head towards Hikaru. "Hikaru, do you have any deman-" she was about to ask as Cassandra interrupted. "Only vampire lords can make demands, no butlers c-" Cassandra began ranting as Wilso slammed the table. "As if butlers aren't important?!" Wilson stood up with angry black eyes. Dimitri tugged Wilson's coat. "Wilson, she's not worth it. Sit down." Dimitri said, calming down Wilson. "Now, Kelly, any demands? Hikaru, any demands?" he looked around at the others now. "Any butlers have any demands?" he asked, still trying to keep Wilson calm by tugging his coat.

Danielle shook Raiden's hand. "Indeed." she smiled at him and then looked at Zander. "Well, hello then, Zander." she chuckled and began heading for the counter again. "The car keys please" she said at the counter but was told that Raiden had them. "Alright, then, thanks" she smiled and returned to Raiden and Zander. "Perhaps we should start patrolling? All of the scum usually start their businesses early" she chuckled and turned to the exit. She waited for Raiden and Zander to come along.

Viktor was amused. "That's cute" he chuckled and rubbed her head. "I feel much better now" he smiled and looked at Christie. "You know what to do to cheer up an old werewolf" he chuckled once more and walked a little faster to get to the city. "Shall I carry you?" he smiled, looking at the sunrise to reassure himself that no vampires would be out at this time.

Hikaru continued to listen quietly until Kelly addressed him and turned his head to her. Before she could finish, she was interrupted by Cassandra's statement and turned his head to her, but seemed unfazed by her remark, but did get a little peeved with her tone to Kelly. "It's rude to interrupt someone whose speaking," he stated calmly, trying to be as nice as possible and not get angry. He held in a chuckle to Wilson's comment. He turned his head to Dimitri and shook his head. "I don't have anything to add to todays topics."

Ellie giggled softly as she listened to them argue. She waited for Hikaru to finish speaking, then leaned forward, resting her elbows. She laced her fingers, resting her chin on the back of her hands. "You guys sure are entertaining." She closed her eyes and smiled. "Does arguing really get us anywhere? No need to be uncivilized after all."

Sebastian rolled his eyes when Dimitri hissed at Cassandra. "It's seems none of them have any manners," he said quietly to himself. He looked over at Wilson and smirked. He kind of liked watching the old vampire get angry over the littlest comments. His smirk faded when he heard someone from the other side of the room make a comment and turned his head to Ellie, not reconizing her from any of the other meetings.

Amelia crossed her legs and folded her hands neatly in her lap. 'The tension is thick when they're in the same room together.' She sighed quietly to herself as she continued to listen to everyone speak.

James stopped as he came across a door in the back and looked around. 'Looks like this is my best bet. Hopefully, they wont hear me come in.' He slowly and quietly opened the door. He looked around to make sure no one was around and sniffed the air. He stepped in and turned his head to the direction he smelled the vampires in. He slowly followed it, keeping an eye out in case anyone tried to sneak up on him. He knelt down around a corner just down the hall where the meeting was taking place and listened quietly, just able to make out what they were saying as long as they weren't whispering of course. 'As long as they remain preoccupied, they shouldn't notice my scent.' Though he wasn't sure if there was another way out of the room or paying attention to anything else except the conversations going on, what he could make out at least. 'Sounds like they don't get along. We might be able to use that to our advantage.' He continued to listen, then his eyes widened a little. 'An army? That could prove to be a problem later on...' He couldn't help but chuckle silently as he listened to them argue a little more. He reached up to his goggles and hit a switch, recording everything he was hearing for Viktor to listen to later. It was one of his many inventions that he worked on in his spare time. He peeked around the corner and hit another switch and a small window popped up on the right side, allowing him to see into the room with an x-ray feature as well and began recording the video now, but only the person wearing the goggles could see it. 'I shouldn't risk staying too long. Hurry up and discuss what you're going to do already!'

Christie closed her eyes and smiled as Viktor rubbed her head. "That's good. I don't like seeing you upset." She giggled a little and looked up at him. "You're not that old." She smiled again and jogged a little to catch up with him. His legs were much longer than hers, but she was used to being short. Her brother always teased her about it. She looked up at him curiously when he asked if she wanted him to carry her and tilted her head to the side a little. "You don't have to carry me. I don't want to be an inconvience."

"You have a point there." Raiden smiled at Danielle and started following her, motioning for Zander to come as well. He walked over to the car and pulled out the keys. "Don't even ask," he said when Zander went to open his mouth. "Get one thing straight rookie. I will never let you drive. So don't even think about asking," he said as he opened the back and pushed Zander in. Zander glared at him and crossed his arms, pouting as Raiden closed the door. He looked over at Danielle as he opened the passenger side for her. He watched as she got in and smiled at her, closing the door for her. He walked over to the driver's side and got in, starting up the car with a sigh. Zander scooted to the middle and leaned forward. "I can't even get out unless you let me out! What kind of bullshit is that?" He asked, not really thinking about there being no seatbelts. Raiden glanced into the mirror back at Zander. "That just means you can't get into trouble."

Dimitri nodded in confirmation. "Alright then, if anyone has any topics, you can tell me throughout the meeting, alright?" he asked out loud and then look at his paper. "Okay, so first topic. The blood supplies. There has been a decrease in blood donors, so you'll have to notify the president about that" he said and crossed it out on his list. Marc nodded reluctantly. "Already did, he should receive it within a few days I believe" Marc sighed.

"Good" Dimitri replied and looked down again. "Werewolves... That's an increasing plague, isn't it..." he sighed. Cassandra nodded. "One jumped through my window a few hours before the meeting" she complained. "But you don't do anything about it, do you?!" she asked aloud annoyed. Dimitri slammed the table so it could be heard but not too loud. "Remain calm!" he hissed. Cassandra sighed and crossed her arms.

Kelly thought back on the road with the werewolves. "Hikaru and I found a small pack of dead werewolves on the road to here" she stated. Dimitri nodded. "I know. Sorry about the mess, it didn't smell too much, did it?" he chuckled a bit. Kelly shook her head. "Not really, it was only for a short time anyways" she replied with a smile.

Marc came to a sudden realization and stood up. "I thought we killed every one of the werewolves in the war? I did my share but you had the responsibility for the last strong ones. How can they grow in numbers if they were extinct?!?" Marc said angrily but didn't budge when Dimitri attempted to glare him down on his seat. "Didn't you finish them all? With the army I saw you with you should have been able to!" Marc getting increasingly enraged. Dimitri sighed. Wilson stood up in an instant. "Remember who created you" Wilson said with an evil smirk, referring to Dimitri. Dimitri tugged Wilson's coat and he sat down again. "That's nothing to bring up now" he sighed.

Marc smiled sheepishly. "The old man is becoming weak, huh?" he laughed mockingly. Dimitri began becoming enraged as well now as the mood became eerie. Dimitri jumped onto the table and pushed Marc down into his seat. "if I wished to, I could break you right. This. Instant." he said threatening, glaring down at Marc. Cassandra almost fell off her chair of laughter. "But you're an old weak man!" she laughed loudly. Dimitri getting even more enraged. "I try to keep this meeting proper but you two keep pushing me" Dimitri glared at Cassandra now. Kelly made hands motions for Marc and Cassandra to stop, but they kept going. A few bats fell to the ground on the hallways with thumbs. "Don't. Ever. Push. Me." Dimitri tried to calm down and sat down again. The bats on the hallways woke up and flew up in the ceiling again, but the feeling remained eerie. "I spared one werewolf. One werewolf only. Viktor" he sighed. "One of the more elusive werewolves. He ran away and he could be the one turning humans into werewolves, which brings us back to the decreasing amount of blood donors" he said and ripped the paper apart to get out with a few aggression.

Sophie felt the mood and watched what happened. "I don't like this..." she thought and tugged on Dimitri's coat. "Can I leave for a bit?" she pouted. Dimitri nodded understanding. Sophie left the room.

Viktor smiled. "You're not an inconvenience" he said kindly and lifted her up on his back and began running forwards. "Hold onto me" he chuckled and jumped onto trees and rocks on the way to the city. He jumped onto a wall when they reached the city. "The city!" he chuckled again and made an arm motion as to present something. The city was still fairly dark as most of the buildings prevented sunlight to reach the streets yet.

Danielle sat down on the passenger seat and closed the door. She looked back at Zander and giggled. Then at Raiden. "We can go by your usual route if you like" she smiled and checked the seats. "Leather, nice"
